A friend in the business says it'll be announcing another tryout soon, this time directed by Christopher Wheeldon. Any buzz?

The A.R.T. version? I can't believe they're going to resurrect it. I thought the show was a complete and total disaster. Nothing worked except for Solea Pfeiffer.
I mean trash belongs in a garage bin so there's your buzz ;)

Does your friend know what's up, or are they listening to the Sweaty TikTokker?
I liked the ART Gatsby. It needed pruning but there was good material there. Still, I don’t see much future for it now.
the old thread on it was here: https://forum.broadwayworld.com/thread/Chavkin-directed-GATSBY-musical-from-Welch-and-Majok-to-premiere-in-2024#5470206
I think thought it would as better than what's on Bway, but it still needed work.

I loved GATSBY: An American Myth. One of my favorite shows of last year.
Shocked at people’s tepid responses to this show. My whole crew was pretty obsessed with it and we are dying to see it again.
I loved this version so much. One of my top 10 from last year.
