Frank Wildhorn's WONDERLAND Commercial-Preview atleast gave a snippet (actually two) of a song...this was nothing more than going to the website.

Agreed ljay, dumb.

I enjoyed First Wives Club more than that.

...However, with probably little publicity footage done, its a decent enough spot for local TV and internet in Chicago.

It has the wrong date. It opens in Chicago in early November, I JUST got my tickets for the 23rd.

I believe they are referring to "Opening night" not the start of the run.

They'd better not air that on Chicago TV. Only we know who these people (apart from Nathan Lane) are. And we already know about this. I'm mildly interested. I only really want to see it because of the actors, and I'll probably only see it if there is a special for really cheap tickets. I saw Jersey boys only because I got a $35 mezzanine ticket on Christmas Eve. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have seen it.

Krysta Rodriguez is AWESOME! I saw her twice in IN THE HEIGHTS, when Karen was out (go figure)! That commercial is a dud and no one will know who any of those people are, except Lane and maybe Neuwirth.

This trailer was available for a while. I saw it on the Broadway in Chicago website earlier this summer.

ETA: I actually saw it on a website of a theater near me. They were advertising for the Chicago production.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Oh Christ, it's called a teaser. It's only August, and the show doesn't go up in Chicago until November. Cut them some slack. Have they even taken promo shots yet? Probably not. That commercial is made with the intention of peaking the interest of people who know nothing about the musical yet. While it seems dumb to the people here on BWW, a random Chicago resident who hasn't heard about the show would probably go "OH wow! The Addams' Family is coming here as a musical! I want to know more!"
