I just have to say that it's awesome to see that those on the other side of the country love JB like I do. Even though we love different casts (I want to see the tours badly!), it's nice to share a love for the same show.
And shesamarshmallow, I agree exactly with what you said about the show. It's just comforting.

Lol, casting Vegas entirely from the cast of You're The One that I Want seems so appropriate somehow!!!
I know right!
Now that there is a Vegas and also Toronto sitdown that's supposed to happen....better get a good agent to get you a part!
So Toronto is going to be a sit down? I know that Vegas is offical but I hadnt heard anything about Toronto.
I dont think it is a sit down. this is what I just found
Dancap Production Inc. will launch with a packed theatre season for 2007-08 that includes Jersey Boys, My Fair Lady, Avenue Q, The Drowsy Chaperone, 3 Mo’ Divas, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
All are to be staged at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres in Toronto, except My Fair Lady, which will be presented at the Toronto Centre for the Arts in North York.
And from looking at the dates that JB will be there it looks like the 2nd cast could do it, if they dont stay in chicago past April 30.

I don't know why they haven't taken Jarrod's name off of the First National Tour cast list, because he is no longer apart of it! I've also noticed that the actor playing Bob Gaudio always gets top billing. *
* - This is not the case when it comes to Broadway, because Christian Hoff is first-billed according to the official website.

"I think it is cool that someone so famous has the time to post here with us normal human beings."
You're kidding, right? Famous?? Other than you Jersey Boy obsessives, I doubt even the most ardent theater-followers would even know who he is. Famous indeed!

Fine - I didn't quote the original quote, but I would say it's nice to have a kind insider and an intensely talented human being post on this thread.

Posted: 5/7/07 at 12:52pmI think you'd be surprised at how many "insiders" post on this board. Of course, you'd probably be surprised at how many "shills" post as well. Some aren't quite as obvious as others.

Did you guys see the thread about the sherry cast going to sacramento in Sept?
Of course, considering the amusement I felt that the person who created that thread had just thrown a ****fit about the show the night before.
