Hopefully Jarrod gets better because I want to see him in the role, although I really enjoyed John's performance.
And why can't that discount be extended just a few more days. I have my last college final ever on the 11th and will be back in the city that evening.
Jarrod was hoping to be back tonight. but he wasnt sure.
Dont know if you all saw this or not.
they have extended the LA run three weeks through Sunday, August 26.

I hope Jarrod gets better :P so me and my friend could see him tomorrow.
Thanks for the discount code! I am gonna bring my aunt and cousins who haven't seen the show yet.
From now on, I vow not to see JB without bringing out a new person to see and feel the sensation that is JB!!!
P.S.
I picked up an updated copy of the Playbill at the Box Office today and it was exciting to see the new cast in it!
Several people were waiting inside for the rush line.
I inquired about a Mother's day discount but they didn't have any....good thing Eugene posted the discount code so I could bring my aunts.

I rushed today!
Jarrod was in, and while not in full voice, sounded beautiful as always. His fly was unzipped through most of Act 2. Tee-hee! I love them so much.
New cast = amazing.
LOL! Oh noes.
How much would you say has changed from the last time you saw this cast? (I may not get to see the show again for another two or three weeks.)
"Jarrod was in, and while not in full voice"
What do you mean specifically, not in full voice? I hope he's feeling better soon.
thanks for the update!

It's good to hear Jarod is back. Hopefully he'll be back to 100% by the time I see the show again during Memorial Day weekend.
His fly was unzipped through most of Act 2.
Oh that's just embarassing.
maybe what's worse than having your fly unzipped on stage is having it being talked about on message boards? :)

Possibly, yes. But it was handled very well and I doubt anyone but the first few rows would have noticed.
How it's changed: acting immeasurably better, vocals considerably worse. Maybe there's a bug going around?
Jarrod sounded great, but I've heard him better.
Once again: I freaking love this cast. Nicest people ever, and so talented. I can't gush enough.
poor Jarrod! didnt that happen to Chris once not long after the Sherry cast started their run?
I told both Jarrod and Craig that they need to set up a blog. we will see if they do or not.
Edit to add: I know some of you had thought it was weird that the Sherry cast went to New Haven and then to LA. here is why.
They couldn't get into the Ahmanson early enough to rehearse on the new set before they start previews there. So they are working out the kinks on the new set in New Haven, close to where the set was actually built. The set will then move to the Ahamanson. The cast will be off for a week and a half while it travels and is loaded in. Then they will have a day and a half to rehearse on it before their first audience.
Can you recognize whose Johnny Hancocks these are?

poor Jarrod! didnt that happen to Chris once not long after the Sherry cast started their run? Yup, I was there for that. It was in February. It was my first (and only) time seeing it from non-rush seats. I was in the 9th row orchestra and a lot of people noticed. And Frankie hardly ever leaves the stage during the second act! I remember during curtain call, just before the boys run off stage, he pretended to check his fly. Very funny.
I'm glad everyone likes the new cast! I'm seeing them soon. Can't wait to see Jarrod. He'll be my 5th Frankie.
Just talked to Jarrod again. he said he is thinking of starting a blog and he has asked me to put the link on the sites so I think he is going to do it.
Also JMD will be doing Wed. and Sun. shows, not Wed. and Sat.
That would be great so we can have some more info about them. Do you think he checks BWW?
I dont know if he checks BWW or not.
Also he said he not not feeling much better. he hopes to be soon.
I told him he needs to rest. I also told him that he shouldnt do a show in the next few days if he doesnt feel like he cant do it. I said I am sure everyone would rather have him well then sick and singing.
No one's linked this here, yet, right?
I only am because I want to bellyache about it not being updated in months.

Saw Jarrod last night. He was sensational. Spoke to him by stage door after show and he was so charming. He said he was feeling much better and didn't expect to miss any more shows. By the way he sang last night it certainly seemed that he was over his illness.
Glad to hear he is feeling better!
Melissa,
That is probably my favorite photo of him so far...I really hope they release more production shots! And I'm glad to hear that his voice is better now.
- Mike.
I know I love that picture as well!
not to bee nit-picky or anything but I think that suit doesn't fit him well.....
I can't wait to see the 2nd Tour perform.
I am doing a interview with Jarrod for the Jersey Boys Blog.
I am hoping to have it out in a week or two.
