They did an intervew this morning (12/12) on KGO-AM 810 in SF.
Luckily the station archives what's been on air for a week. If you want to listen to it click the link to their archives. Can't link directly to the file so choose Wed and 11am. It's everything that was aired that hour so it has all the other stuff you usually hear during a morning radio show. The interview starts about 10 mintues in.

That was great! I'm still laughing over "cardboard helicopter."

I'm not sure if any JB fan has had this random, awkward gift giving behavior at the the stagedoor, wherever the show is playing. If it hasn't I hope it stays that way. Besides panties being thrown on stage every once in a while is awkward enough. But if Jonathan Hadley starts getting boxes of grits at the stagedoor because someone read that linked article, I think I may die laughing.

Today is Eric's first performance on Broadway. Break a leg, althogh he probably doesn't need it. He was great on the road and I'm sure he'll be great on Broadway.
And Zachary Prince will have his last performance with the tour tomorrow. Before heading to the Broadway company.
By the way, anyone have news on who was been cast as the tour's new alternate Frankie?
Great pic of Nate Klau. No mention of who the new alternate is, though...

It's been ages since I've been on here. Just wanted to pop and in let you guys know that I stopped by the stage door yesterday afternoon to catch Eric Gutman after his first show. He said he felt good about it. His parents surprised him by coming, which I thought was really cute. Incidentally, he looks SO much like his dad. Essentially, he looks like Gutman as the accountant in Act 2. And he has a nice big insert since all the December playbills still list Colin Donnell.
Congratulations to Eric and hopefully we will see more familiar faces out here in the upcoming months.
Definitely looking forward to seeing the third cast at the Curran when I'm home for the holidays. It's been 5 months since I've seen the show. Somehow, I've survived.
Wait, what do you mean by accountant? Did they change tracks? I thought Bob Crewe was the accountant on Broadway.
Welcome back to SF when it happens. :)
Eric Gutman is so nice. I saw him at the stage door today and I basically welcomed him to Broadway, got a picture with him and told him how much I liked his blog and he was very sweet. I can't wait to seem him again!
Here it is in his blog:

Edit: HA jwonjy119 and I posted the same thing at the same time. Guess we're thinking on the same wavelength for a second.
I'd love to hear Eric deliver the lines in the Brill Building scene.

Taylor gets to go on as Frankie on 12/23. Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think this is his first time going on as Frankie. Break a leg Taylor.

Yeah, it definately is his first time. I saw his bulletin on myspace. =] I wish we got the chance too see him as Frankie; I also liked him as Hank.
Maybe some people are confused if it's his first time or not because apparently someone claimed to have seen him play Frankie.

We know Bergen is leaving the tour at the end of the month and although rumors have been floating around, but I don't think any have been posted, John Altieri is leaving at the same time. They'll be swaping with their counter parts in the SF/Vegas cast Andrew Rannells and Jonathan Hadley. According to someone who saw the show in Seattle and posted on the JB blog board, Andrews and Jonathan are already in the Playbill in Seattle.
I think a some of us knew this already but I'm just putting that out there for those who don't.
Has anyone seen the show in Seattle? How is Gutman's replacement, if he started already. And has there been anything mentioned about a new alternate Frankie?

The road companies of JB sure know how to make people open up their wallets for charity.
The Sherry Company was the top fundraiser with the Chicago Company behind them in second place.

I like the crop of smirky Erich Bergen.
According to the playbill, Joseph Leo Bwarie is doing both shows on 12/26. Makes me wonder who'll be doing closing.
Sorry I don't follow the tours as closely as you guys do but how long is Jarrod going to be with the tour?
Jarrod is currently with the Chicago sit-down production, and one would guess he will be there as long as it is (the run is currently open-ended), although obviously casts can shuffle and things can come up. After that, who knows?
Joe will be doing Frankie on 12/26 (Wed. Matinee) and 12/29 (Sat. Evening). Also, the rest of the run is sold out.
Is Rick doing both shows on 12/30?

Did they change the schedule from what they printed in the playbill because it says he's doing both shows on the 26th. Updated On: 12/20/07 at 11:26 PM
Yes, Rick is doing both shows on the 30th. The schedule was changed. The Playbill is incorrect.
