It's interesting that a majority of the cuts are really small ones that are, what, .03 seconds? (Of course, it adds up.) Which is good because I suppose they're less jarring. :)
Have there been issues with latecomers after intermission? It seems awfully short to run, go, and run back, unless the theatre is like the Orpheum's in SF with their stalls that seem to go on for miles.

There were several new souvenirs.....
And I particularly love the imported zoot suit from London.
Speaking of souvenirs...
One thing I wish for that the management could hopefully consider is the inclusion of a photo booth ala the venetian gondola ride or even something like the stratosphere green screen for fan's pics to be superimposed over some JB memorabillias, collage, or even a personalized "program" where the fans pics could be thrown in the mix together with the casts. Just an idea and I could only bet that it could rake in more money coz those pics couls sell an easy $30 apiece if it becomes existent.

Yes. In fact, it was already way into the jail/toilet scene and people were still walking back in. Some of them, mostly elderly, couldn't even find their seats so there were talking and ushers flashing their little blue seatfinder lights. Quite distracting and annoying.

The 8 minutes was okay though l just decided to just sit through it and watch the vintage videos of the early streets of sf, la, ny, etc....
Thru the perspective of a driver....
On an unrelared note:
The actor playing sir lancelot at the wynn reminded me of RQW....but just a bit taller :)
Fun times!

HAHA... I was wondering if someone was going to get Lizzie's reference.
I would make that high-pitched noise that Ryan Quinn West did at the benefit, but firstly, I'm not sure that I can achieve that sound, and secondly, it would lose something when typed.

There is a stop in Toronto starting late August through October 5th. There was an announcement today in Toronto that the production company which is bringing it to the city, Dancap Productions, has come into a long term deal with the theatre Jersey Boys is to play at (Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts). One of the prominant Canadian papers (The Globe & Mail) stated that since Dancap now has the ability to use the theatre as they want, Jersey Boys will be there until they can't sell tickets anymore (paraphrasing). Meaning that the tour stop would not end October 5th. Anyone have any futher info or confirmation?

If you check the tour schedule on the official site, Toronto is scheduled to end on 10/5, and the next stop in Denver, Co is scheduled to start sometime in December. So there's about 2 months where they could extend the Toronto engagement of the tour if they wanted.
There was interview with Jeremy Kushnier a few months back that mentioning the possibility of creating a Canadian company of Jersey Boys and having him be a member if one materalizes. But nothing definite has been mentioned since that interview was put out, just vauge references to a Toronto company that pop up every now and then. The latest being in the audition notice for the Melborne production.

To sing at a charity gala? What's more, this is in a Biloxi newspaper. Intriguing. LOL.

So, this is only marginally related to Jersey Boys, but it's about Courter Simmons' husband -- definitely a good an interesting read.

Things may have changed and I could be mistaken but I thought that the original discussion to use the Toronto Center was based on a six month guarantee.
That was originally rumoured but has since not proved to be true.
