Grey Gardens did have great T-Shirts. But they also had a $50.00 teapot which had nothing at all to do with the show.

Carrie should have sold forks to stick in our eyes so we didn't have to look at those sets and costumes.

I like the "What Hump" bags. I think it's funny, but then again, Young Frankenstein is my favorite movie, so I should like that line. I don't see what's so bad about the bag!

How about ....

A Sweeney Todd Cookbook... All meat pies! All the time!

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

I'm not sure about stupid merch, but my favorite merch had to be GREY GARDENS. They had a huge variety and everything was so nice.

I like the show dolls (mascots if that's what you call them). But I really like stuffed animals period. My friend actually just gave me a wicked monkey doll and I love it!

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

I think the more out- there merch is fun and campy... where's the harm? I love and laugh at my Good Vibrations beach ball that I got at the Bway Flea Market. And I adore my I Heart Link button! I don't remember if they had any super ridiculous merch at Urinetown... I can imagine the possibilities...

The original Sweeney Todd apron was great. I had 2 chances to get one and didn't. I have the one from the revival which isn't as nice as the one from the original show.

I honestly think the backpacks are cute, minus the writing. If I liked the show I would definitely buy one. Also, I dont think the green monkeys are bad either- there are monkeys in the show, so it makes sense.

I think most merch is overpriced and stupid. For $40 you could buy the cheapest seat in the house. This is where the producers really nickle and dime you. I NEVER buy merch, would rather invest in a glas or wine or two.

yeah but you pee out the wine in a couple hours at least you have something to rememebr the show by instead of a headache.

I think the pants that say "omigod!" on the butt at Legally Blonde are ridiculous...yet I still own them. Whoops.

Wicked umbrellas though?! It's like they're just thinking of every random item possible! I bet people STILL go crazy over all of it.

1. My favorite piece of merch has to be the Lambchop finger puppet at Altar Boyz. They also sell some gorgeous hoodies and shirts at Mary Poppins.
2. August: Osage County most certainly do not sell pillboxes, though many people have asked for them. They've also asked for a "EAT THE FISH, BITCH" shirt, which I would buy and wear in a heartbeat.

The Grey Gardens stuff was really nice and is REALLY hard to find now. I think it will be very collectible since it is tied to the movie. I love my canvas bag and when I go grocery shopping queens will comment on it and I'll finish every sentence with "you understand."

Grey Gardens did have great T-Shirts. But they also had a $50.00 teapot which had nothing at all to do with the show.

The teapot was a "tea for one" in reference to the lyric in Two Peas in a Pod.

omg! I totally didn't even realize he was in a show! I was in high school with him! We did a couple of shows together! That's so funny! Go Justin!!!

Sorry that was so off topic....as to merch....I try not to buy anything directly out of the theatre...too expensive when I can get it off of amazon for much cheaper!

Urinetown sold toilet paper. It was wrapped in a paper signed by the cast members. Might have been a BC/EFA thing. I can't remember. I have it, though.

A lot of the "stupid" merchandise would be less stupid if it was CHEAPER.
