2010: That same year, the show ALADDIN* opened and closed Alladin; a comedy about an ignorant guy who finds humor in himself by putting people down. It received HORRIBLE reviews; mainly due to the fact that ucjrdude902 starred in it and just wasn't really that funny...I'm not sure what show you were referring to, but it would help make you look better if you knew how to spell; that is, before you try to put your cocky attitude to use. Kathy Griffin shakes her head in shame.
2011: AIDA is revived; this time receiving positive reviews. It goes on to win a few Tony awards, including Best Revival!
2012: Labyrinth: The Musical opens to rave reviews and goes on to win 11 Tony awards. David Bowie once again takes on the role of the Goblin King!
2013: Robin Hood: Men In Tights opens also to rave reviews and goes on to win a record breaking 13 Tony awards; beating out The Producers' record of 12.

I still can't believe that I read in the NY times a few days ago that Flaherty&Ahrens are to write "Rocky - the musical" with a book by Thomas Meehan. I can't believe it.

2009: The producers of "Rent" realize how stupid they were to close it on Broadway. The Adam Pascal/Anthony Rapp tour comes to the Nederlander, joined by the original cast. It wins Best Revival of a Musical. Runs for 24 years (same as original!)
2010: "Wicked", with 26 productions around the world (San Francisco, London, LA Revival, Broadway, North America Tour #1, North America Tour #2, Toronto, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Melbourne, Chicago Revival, Seoul, Dubai, Australia Tour, Germany Tour, Japan Tour, UK Tour, Canada Tour, Tel Aviv, Mexico Tour, Stuttgart, Paris, and Rome) opens a second Broadway production at the Marquis, making it the first Broadway musical to have two productions running on Broadway at the same time. The principal cast is comprised of Amanda Harrison as Elphaba, Lucy Scherer as Glinda, Matsu****a Takeshi as The Wizard, Harriet Thorpe as Madame Morrible, Rob Mills as Fiyero, Nicole Radeschnig, Nobuhiko Kanada as Boq, and Andy Mace as Doctor Dillamond. This cast features 2 Australians, 1 German, 2 Japanese, 2 British, and 1 Austrian. It wins Best Revival of a Musical. Runs forever, (well not forever, but as of 2068, no closing date has been announced, same for original, together, "Wicked" in New York alone makes around $3,000,000 a week, with a weekly worldwide gross average of $39,000,000)
2011: "Les Misérables" is revived at the Hirschfield with the 10th anniversary cast. It wins Best Revival of a Musical. Runs for 36 years.
2012: "Avenue Q" closes, with weekly grosses of $100,000 and attendances of 40%.
2013: "Hairspray" closes with a scenario similar to "Avenue Q". (But grosses and attendance a bit higher).
2014: "Sweeney Todd" is revived with the film cast, at the Walter Kerr. Wins Best Revival of a Musical. Runs for 6 years (longest running production of "Sweeney Todd")
2015: "Into the Woods" is revived, wins 13 awards breaking the record, (including Best Revival of a Musical, of course). Runs for 8 years (longest running "Into the Woods")
2016: "The Last 5 Years" finally comes to Broadway. There is much dispute on whether it will be in the Best Musical or Best Revival of a Musical. It is a Revival. It wins Best Revival of a Musical. It's grosses are amazing (right after the 2 productions of "Wicked". ) This show runs for 12 years.
2017: "Chicago" closes! FINALLY! (A run of 20 years)
2018: "Aida" is revived. Wins Best Revival of a Musical. Runs for 8 years (twice as long as the original!)
2019: "Company" is revived, with Doyle staging. Although, it has a new cast. Wins Best Revival of A Musical, runs for 10 years.

It wins Best Revival of a Musical although some say that it was a Special Theatrical Event. 2009: Xanadu closes. The news anchor who promised to let us know when it closes forgets to tell us, so lines for tickets continue to form until 2058, when she finally remembers to tell us. The line becomes the hip theater place, so no one sees anything until 2058.

And that is the next 50 years.

A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.
