With Dolly closing, what do we think will be the next revival that has yet to hit a theatre. Or, rather, what would you love to see revived next.
Personally, I'd love to see a Man of no Importance!

Also Great Comet, American Psycho, and Bright Star. All the goodies that closed too early.

Not for another few seasons after MFL, but the idea of Into the Woods at the Vivian Beaumont is beyond thrilling to me.

I can't believe I missed American Phycho, I left it as the last show of my trip and then it wasn't on that day ![]()

An Audra Mcdonald lead Into the Woods at the Vivian Beaumont directed by Bartlett Sher. Also, I could see Rachel Chavkin doing some interesting work with Into the Woods.
Also, a revival of A Little Night Music starring Cate Blanchett and either Julie Andrews or Glenda Jackson directed by Sher or Joe Mantello.
Also a Jessie Mueller lead revival of Funny Girl directed by George C. Wolfe.
Also, Bernadette Peters in Mame directed by Jerry Zaks.
And Evita starring Lady Gaga directed by Michael Arden or Rachel Chavkin.

I so wish it could have been Carousel. Will we have to wait another 25 years?

I am hoping next year's "Secret Garden" is beautifully done in every way.

I think you, my friend, need to relax a bit and look beyond Hamilton. I recommend South Pacific or Anything Goes.

Jessie is probably one of my favourite performers but I don't think funny girl is right for her. I think she would be great in a Funny Girl concert but to do the whole show? I'm skeptical.
