VERYC, No, Whoopi's opinion means nothing to me...I'm just saying that it might bring national attention to the show, which is a good thing. I kinda feel like you do...that's it's my own personal show...don't f*** with it!
tiny, my question wasn't meant to sound sarcastic..I just realized that it did. I haven't seen The View in a while, so I don't know how reliable Whoopi Goldberg's opinions/tastes on shows are..
I knew that Rosie was into the whole Broadway scene..I actually liked to hear what she had to say about shows, even though they were mostly praises.
Any release date for the album? I've been playing my downloaded tracks to death and want the whole thing!
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
Now you are knee deep in your head's footnotes and your eyes are closing I'll take your complex out of context, and you can stop your posing I've been listening to you talking in your sleep It's a strange poetry You're always running from something it seems Let me chase away what ever's hurting you, just have to ask it of me my love is more real than all your dreams Cause I've been thinking leaving my fingerprints on your being It's like church now so come down now remove your mask, see All you've got to do is ask me I'll give you all the love life allows so come down now remove your mask, see All you've got to do is ask me I'll give you all the love life allows All you've got to do is ask me What does this feeling mean to you? Both to seen and to be seen through? Love (something) like an ocean in a state of withdrawal a fishbowl of emotion and the Berlin wall Why you wanna leave? Starting to feel real Why you wanna leave? Right when it was starting to feel real
Where'dja get the lyrics from, WALTSPI? Now I love Stew's art even more. SCARYOTYPES, Stew and co. were *amazing* Thursday night. *Amsterdam* and the curtain call music were about twice as long and rockin' hard core. The place went nuts. The entire audience was fab. I always think that most shows are just starting to hit their peak perfs. 2 months in. That's why I never go to previews.
