Glad to hear you liked it , JRB. And Tiny I was asking you about the TV spot in NYC. It isn't being shown here in Boston. And speaking of Boston, I don't know J*. joe
Quick Question: I'm going to get rush tickets for the Wednesday night April23rd show. What time should I show up ayt the box office? Will there be a line for rush like there is for SA? I would need 4 tickets (I know its 2 per person but I have 3 other ppl with me). Also how have the seats been Do they just sell whatever is left? Bc I saw 4th row Orc Center on Telecharge if that doesn't get sold would they sell me that as rush? Is it usually full view?
Thanks a lot sorry for all the questions

Just a reminder, folks, that Eisa is doing her play, Warriors Don't Cry, based on the memoir by Melba Beals, on April 25 at 12 PM. Warriors Don't Cry follows the story of one of the "Little Rock Nine" who marched through segregationist picket lines in 1957.
Coolkid, the last time I did rush was in March during Spring Break. I went after losing a lottery, about two hours before show time, and got a front row seat. I'm pretty sure they just give out what's left but for a Wednesday I'm pretty sure you'd be ok getting four seats. And there isn't really a bad seat for this show (I think even on the extreme sides you'd have a good view).
I don't know when you should get there, I'd just suggest the earliest possible. But I'm pretty sure you'd be ok getting the tickets a few hours before showtime.
Is the show ok for a nine year old? I ask this bc I want to bring my sister. She's seen Rent a bunch of times so is it anything worse than Rent? Also whats it exactly about my parents are asking my and IDK what to tell them other then Its an amazing experience (From what I've heard)

I don't know. There's definitely a lot of foul language and references to having sex and drugs and such, but they don't necessarily do anything on stage. If she's seen Rent and is a mature nine year old I would hope it would be ok but it really depends. I don't think I'd take my 11 year old brother but he's still really immature.
Sorry I can't be more reassuring...Any other thoughts?
Thanks Ben, I think it needs all the love it can get. ATC is saying the show is running on fumes. And the balcony is closed for all performances. So lets hope things pick up soon. I'm still a proud SCARYOTYPE!!!!!
I just hope that Passing Strange can survive up to the Tony Nominations. Then, hopefully, it should be safe. But we've seen that it' possible for the show to get the high numbers at the box office.
Also, I voted for Passing Strange, and for Daniel Breaker.
Coolkid, Thats what I had read on ATC. I don't know if it is true. They seem to hate the show. So I would try to RUSH the show. I thought they were still doing $25.00 tickets, at the BO. Or they seat you where ever. Have fun!joe Updated On: 4/22/08 at 01:44 PM
