great news the in the heights 11 main cast members will be performing at vigin megastore in times square beggining at 5pm and will be signing the cd(as they call it), we know it as a obcr(duh,theres a difference) afterwards. we dont know which numbers they will perform. i def want to go.


Blahh it's on a Thursday and I don't go into work until 3.

<< I much prefer Karen's Vanessa over Krysta's. And I like Krysta but Karen IS Vanessa, you know? I hope she rests her voice for good. I think she might take off for the 15th so that she can be fresh & ready for the Tony's because during the time they were recording the CD, she was out for awhile.

Definitely agree--- Karen is amazing, but like Krysta's take on Vanessa as well- The entire cast is amazing !

Saw the show tonight. Lotto was nuts but I got $56.50 bc i took my friend for her bday.

So.. I liked Krysta!Vanessa, though she definitely did not have as much attitude as Karen does. I personally like Karen better but my friend who had never seen the show and had no one to compare her too loved krysta so I was happy about that.

In the beginning Lin seemed really tired but by the end he was back to his normal self.

Oh and i love, love, loved Krysta's "champagne"

that's all for now.
And I know I said it before but I shall be at the 17th perfomance too.

They really are all amazing :)

Btw, Whoopi was at the show tonight. Which is no surprise, all things considered. She seemed to really enjoy the show; I'm pretty sure she'll say something about it during the Hot Topics. Well it's a nice thought anyway.

I was in row S, which i was so worried about but actually wasn't bad because the seats are elevated, and I can now honestly say that the show is great from anywhere you sit.

I did not see Whoopi Goldberg, but its cool she was there, I did Destan Owens though (from Rent, he used to play Collins) so that was fun.

That sucks about the part cutting, but it should still be great.

Normally when ever I want to watch a performance or something on a News/Talk show thing it's always at the end. So they may end with it.

(fyi Krysta still on as Vanessa again tonight- hope Karen is getting a lot of rest!!)

Thanks to work and tiVo I just watched the The View performance from this morning- thought it was great. I think it's a really good number for showing that the music might be Something Different that what your casual theatre goer might be used to/expecting. But I actually really enjoyed the two minute interview with Lin after- he is so NOT the Phantom!!

But man I am glad I am not The View's target audience, and never watch this show, because that Sherri Shepherd is all kinds of annoying... and I was watching most of the episode on fast forward! What was that "and then watching it makes you want to come out talking like this" bit in the opening chatter, when she was showing off all the souvenirs? Really? Really??

Just got back from the show- AMAZING !!! Krysta was on for Karen, and was really good ! She is getting more comfortable-

Crowd was so into it tonight !!!

Hung out by the stagedoor tonight to get CD signed. Everyone was so amazing !!! Mandy simply could not be any nicer-

They were all so accomodating, even after a long day. You could tell that Lin was pooped.

There was a family next to me at the stage that flew in from
"D R", and they were so emotional meeting the cast. It was really great to see.

The fact that this show draws such a diverse crowd is so good to see ! Really a pleasure !
