Got right orchestra N13 for today's Dead Outlaw matinee. One of the worst seats I got by booking on TDF, albeit had pretty good legroom. Also, Longacre seats and maybe also the carpet need some power washing. The theater smells.

If this is one of the worst seats you’ve been given, consider yourself lucky! I have had awful luck over the past several years - I’m usually given side and toward the back of the orch - Compared to my friend who usually ends up in house seats.

Where does your name fall in the alphabet versus theirs? The rumor was always that they assigned the seats A-Z.

I can definitely say that is not the case. My last name is well toward the end of the alphabet and I have gotten a variety of seats throughout the years. Most recently, I had a first row seat at Floyd Collins (right beside Floyd Collins!). A 3rd row center seat at John Proctor, a row N side seat in Stranger Things, and a row G seat at Sunset Blvd.
If I had to guess, it would be that it is a list ordered by the time of purchase, so the earlier you buy the ticket (and the smaller your party), the better seat you are going to get.

That was my experience over the years as well. If I buy early, I get great seats. It was just surprising to get the back of the side orchestra seat which I've gotten as a much cheaper rush seat before. The faint stench coming from the seats made my experience even worse.
Dead Outlaw last night (Monday 6/2) got a single ticket in the mezzanine row F seat 16.
Not sure if you’ll escape having someone’s head in your way a little bit up there, as a lot is played downstage, but not a huge problem. The seat itself was pretty uncomfortable and uneven, though: I think the Longacre needs a refresh.

TDF must have read my last post stating I always get seats in rear orch because I got some really great seats yesterday - a rarity for me!

Has anyone seen HELL'S KITCHEN through TDF? If so where were the seats? TIA

DEAD OUTLAW seems relatively consigned to assigning the TDF seats in the mezzanine (with some exception). Your best bet right now, for a few dollars more, or less if you go to the box office, make use of the promo code OUTLAW and get 20%. The prices DROP close to showtime. I got Orch C on an aisle for $66 for tomorrow night. And the partial view isn’t really that partial.

Seems TDF changed their mobile site. Anyone else seeing a new layout? Not for the better, IMO. I can’t find where to add a filter for Broadway / off broadway etc.
It's happened before. They'll fix it tomorrow when they're back.

Has anyone bought Cabaret tickets off TDF and got table seats? I'm not particularly thrilled by what I've heard of Billy Porter's Emcee but if there's a chance of table seats and being able to see Marisha Wallace I could go for the TDF ticket.

I got a table seat from TDF. Marisha was great, but I was put in the table seat that the entire cast played to and Billy called me out a few times for not looking like I was having enough fun. Beware.

I'd have replied "put your understudy on and I'll have plenty of fun"! That'd shut him up.
Stranger Things is back with a handful of dates

Saw this recently in a TDF table seat. Not to me, but Billy came across quite negative and pushy in the role to some tables and the audience in general. See it for Marisha - try to see an understudy as MC. Beware of Billy is right - he's not it.
