TDF really came through for me this past week, I managed to see six shows using TDF tickets (as well as a couple on TKTS.) To help track locations, my seats were:
John Proctor is the villain - Mezz, C- 6,8, two in from the center aisle, lovely seats.
Smash - Rear Mezz, off to the side- F405-6; the “worst” seats tdf gave me this week, which honestly? Still Pretty great at the imperial. We moved at intermission to some aisle seats at the center of rear mezz and noticed that we had less roomy seats than we did farther back. Despite being pretty far back, I could see facial expressions clearly and there was no obstruction.
Boop! - O 25 and 27 - on the aisle at the far side. We couldn’t see the top of the proscenium and some of the projections were obstructed (Most significantly the "bouncing ball" gag), but I don’t feel like I missed anything in terms of action.
Purpose - we went with friends and so had four seats - Center mezz, A112-108. The most comfortable seats I've ever had at the Hayes and perfect seats for this show.
Redwood - front Mezz, Row E 103 and 104. Great view, not so great leg room.
Real Women Have Curves - center Orch row F 105-106. Clearly Unused House seats, spectacular.

Today -
Redwood - Right Mezz row C seats 18/20. A little disappointed we were so far over but overall not terrible.
The Last 5 Years - Right Orch Row Q seats 6/8/10. Again - not terrible - just wished we were a bit more centered.

Dead Outlaw - center orchestra N 114.
The two seats to my left (N 115 and 116) were also through tdf

Some seating this past week:
Sunset Boulevard (last Sunday, Rashidra Scott show) - Mezz center row K
Last Five Years (last Sunday evening) - Mezz right row C
Dead Outlaw (Friday) - Orchestra right row P
Real Women Have Curves (Saturday) - Orchestra left row J
All pretty great seats, no complaints!
Glengarry Glen Ross through Passport last Wednesday, row B mezzanine seats 20 and 22.
DEAD OUTLAW - Sat 4/26 matinee
Right Mezz - E 7 & 9.
Great view, but absolutely ZERO leg room

Would love to hear about seat locations for Gypsy if anyone has gone in the last week or so.
I have tickets in two weeks and am hoping for seats in the front mezz/rear orchestra as other members have commented previously, but I know it'll be busier what with the Tony nominations coming out next week. My tickets are for a Tuesday which I hope will work in my favor.

Crazy improbable question. When TDF has only one ticket available, is that just one ticket left or are there only single tickets left? Anyone happen to know?
Probably the latter. TDF doesn’t tie in with the box office’s software and assign seats the second you buy them. They just send a list of names and number of seats the box office, and someone manually assigns them there ~2 hours before curtain. I don’t think the TDF platform would know if only a single seat is left.

That makes perfect sense, thank you. I had vain hope that I could order two separate tickets and then somehow they'd seat us together, ha!
In the past I have ordered 1 and another 1 later for the same performance and did end up seated together but it would be up to the box office's discretion.

Was it when you clicked the drop down and only one was available to select?

They will seat you together, in my experience.

If you email TDF they might be able to put the tickets together. That happened for me last year when I bought two tickets but then needed a third. They were able to make them "one order" before it went to the theater
