Did Lilla get part of her stuff cut? Before the break she was decked out in her finale costume & curls.

Jane Lynch = best performance so far.
Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

Jane is great (but not better than Dorothy)

I now see why "Annie" was not nominated for Best Actress.
She was literally onstage for a minute. And sang like, what, one line? How is that a good gauge as to whether or not she deserves a nomination...? Which she did. Certainly over Valisia LaKae.

While I'm delighted that Diane won, I'm also disappointed that Terrence Mann didn't. I so thought this might be his year. He was great in Pippin!

What Lilla did sing, she sang well. No cracking or nerves. (That wasn't a dig at the lovely "Matilda" girl, just giving credit where it's due - she's only 13 after all!)

I disagree. First, no comparison with Cinderella. And second, why was she smiling her way through the song?

Pam Mckannon is the top trend in the USA. Kind of random but cool!

Marc, Dorothy will never be topped.
Glad Jerry Mitchell won Choreography. Watching KINKY BOOTS, I was reminded that there are some choreographers that understand restraint, and Mitchell is one of them.

The orphans did an very good job with their New York accents and Lynch gave an excellent performance.

Way to go, Cyndi! Loved her speech. *still wants a recording of her Threepenny Opera, darn it*
And smart move to use Jane Lynch. I actually want to see a production of Annie again, just to see her. Quite good. Yet another reason why they should have kept the 'Best Replacement' Tony. Just sayin'.

Holy crap Lilla was great. Its criminal she didn't get an award but the matilda's did. That one Matilda girl CLEARLY cracked under pressure but not Lilla. I think we all know which girl is the true professional. JANE KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Her vocals were a lot better than i thought they would be. YOU GO JANE!

It is his bf. They were photographed on the red carpet on the KB opening night.

Joviedamian - Thank you. Happy for Jerry. And if he wants to rob the cradle, good for him. They're both good looking guys.
YAY FOR CYNDI!
Jane Lynch was great. The woman just 'has it,' no matter what role she's playing. My first thought though about the Annie performance: Wow. That Annie is really tall.
