The Outsiders - what shape is it in?

Has anyone seen it recently? Looks like most of the cast is still intact 16 months later which is fantastic -- has the show been well maintained? I'm thinking about a return visit.

Just recently saw it again and it has maintained well, maybe a bit less spontaneous and more 'rehearsed', but still exciting performances.

We saw the first preview, then again this past January and then in June. I think it actually has improved each time we have seen it. We did see Brody Grant’s understudy in June and I think it actually was a bit more exciting because of this.

Looking at Playbill Vault, there have been a few new ensemble members in recent months, but the only principal cast change so far is Alex Joseph Grayson as Dally

Not trying to be funny, but the more I hear about Brody's attendance record, the more shocked I am that I got to see him well into the run.

Joshua Boone is the only original principal who's officially left the show. However, at any given performance you can expect a raft of understudies. Brody Grant is basically the Ponyboy alternate at this point.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

There are no discounts that I know of, only rush and lottery. It had discount codes which have long since expired.

I started a thread asking about his absences which was subsequently deleted (this board used to be fun lol). Do we know why he’s practically never on…? Why is BWW allowing post after post about Megan Hiltys absences but not Brody’s….?

Probably bc the moderators were nervous about overstepping when Brody was previously accused of inappropriate behavior. They don’t want anything to become that again, so they’re just deleting things to be proactive.
