liotte, wicked, whoever -- does anyone know anything about when the lotto is happening yet?

are my kids interested in acting?
i think the oldest girl will be - she's quite the drama queen!
no other info is known yet
When the information is out, it's going to be ALL over the plae. trust me, you won't have to ask.
Sorry, I don't have any further info on the lotto.
Hmm, it's hard to find completely updated information on amount of performances, but I'll see what I can find about how far behind Miss Saigon Rent is.
And the way the box office has been bumped from the movie, it doesn't seem like it'll be going anywhere soon!

It depends how long the box office bump lasts for though. Press from the movie is starting to die, so odds are the box office at the Neder will start to slow a bit too.
Actually, in about 2 months, Rent will pass Miss Saigon and become the 7th longest.

I wonder how crowded the Rent lotto has been lately... I will be seeing the show on Saturday night, I'll report on how full it is!
Okay, turns out didn't need exact # of performances..
From playbill.com:
"On February 27, 2006, at performance number 4,098, Rent surpasses Miss Saigon to take over seventh place on the list of the longest-running shows in Broadway history"

yes dmb i love dark and twisted stories...
btw... how'd you come out with that paper?
Hi Fredi---
I must commend you on this undertaking. As a teacher planning a field trip and writing out chaperone directions, et al. RIGHT NOW, I must say you are a brave, brave soul!
Wish I could join in the fun, but I have a long standing annual holiday party to attend that evening.
I don't remember if I entered or not already... I'll do it again just in case!
Fantab- if you win, I want one of the tickets to the show! You can have one of mine if I win!
I need someone to make a pact like that with me about the reunion! It'll be like backups on Friends!
Fredi, as both an actress and a mother, how old do you think children should be before they see Rent on Broadway? I had an interesting conversation about this with a current cast member the other night and wondered what you feel is appropriate.
liotte, I stopped by the other night to ask and they said about 150.

i can't believe i didn't see anything this year either!
it's much more difficult than it used to be...
now pretty much all i see is stuff i'm sent to see 'cause i'm up for the job...
it's a MAJOR effort to get to the theatre now...
Yeah, I think on weekends Rent lotto hits up to 150, 100ish on weeknights.
Crazy though, guess we all have that one show...I've done rent lotto 3 times, not only won all 3 times, but was the 4th name picked so I sat 1st row dead center.
