No, I don't think you're the only one that thinks that. But we don't know what changes they've made to Frank in regards to casting a woman rather than a man.

My lord what have they done to my beloved Ben Vereen?!?! And why is he even in this misguided mess?!?!?

Ugh I am so not feeling this production.

 

With every picture released I am hating it more and more.

No, this is not a live production. It is being filmed traditionally.

I'm loving Magenta and Columbia's looks, and I wish they'd have wigged Janet. I'm trying to remain optimistic, but it does look cheap.

This one has yet to be posted here. Or on BroadwayWorld. Seems like they have just been getting their pictures exclusively from this thread, as usual. Again, a wig for Victoria Justice would have been great. But I'm loving all of their looks, especially Riff and Columbia. Rosscoe, I'd guess October, given the Halloween feel, but there isn't a specific date yet. Sometime in the Fall.

Wow, those really do look bad.  When Glee did Rocky Horror a few years ago, their costumes looked MUCH better! Bleh.

Why are they even doing this?  It's not like the world was crying out for a remake, and it's not like any of the actors (as good as they are) are going to outshine the originals.  If it's not live, what's the point?
