Granted, it was two seconds, but Laverne looked pretty great.
it just looks so cheaply done.
Terrible. Are these just hastily shot clips or is this actually what it's going to look like?

Again, a wig for Victoria Justice would have been great. But I'm loving all of their looks, especially Riff and Columbia. Rosscoe, I'd guess October, given the Halloween feel, but there isn't a specific date yet. Sometime in the Fall.
I am curious to know why you wish they would have wigged Victoria Justice. Susan Sarandon didn't wear a wig in the 1975 film and she was just fine. Since when does the role of "Janet" require a wig?
I don't know how I feel about the trailer...
I had ZERO expectations that this would be good and that teaser made me think even less of the whole stupid thing.
From the clips it looks like the director just told everyone to imitate the movie actors. If this was supposed to be a tribute to the film why does the design not reflect that concept?
This is such a disgrace. I hope Fox and everyone in it burns down to the ground. This truly breaks my heart.

I just wish Victoria as Janet had curly hair rather than straight hair. That's all.
I have had no desire to see this after they announced that Cox wax playing Frank. You don't cast a famous trangendered person to play a man who is a transvestite. Cox is a woman and looks it in these pics and trailers. You knew Frank was a man. I will most likely see this on demand only for Annaleigh. JMO

That doesn't necessitate a wig, what she would need is a curling iron. LOL.
This production doesn't need a curling iron, it needs a wrecking ball.
I didn't say curling iron because some of the first moments of the show are spent in the rain. I like what I'm seeing so far, to be quite honest. I genuinely think Laverne will turn out an incredible performance, and in the trailer, it doesn't look nearly as cheap as the small handful of set photos we have.

Who's playing shirtless Brad there?
He's hot as s hit.
I must be missing some footage. All I saw were a couple of one liners, in closeup. I wasn't aware of a cheap set, because I didn't really see one. The few inches of set that showed looked like the movie, which had the cheapest and trashiest set (on purpose) you could imagine.
How can anyone judge a film from a 30 second clip. I'll judge when I see the entire film.

That is Ryan McCartan
Here he is in his "Floor Show" costume:
The costume is hella-ugly
Did anyone see the new promo??
Their tagline is apparently "Let there be Lips" O.o
She looks great! I like the tagline. It's odd in a good way and it feels fresh and new. I wonder if they'll do a promo like this for other characters.
I believe "Let There Be Lips" is a call out from the midnight screenings.
Ah! makes sense. Most likely not a tagline then.

I am really on the fence about this. The original is so iconic and was truly groundbreaking. It was so ahead of it's time that many did not get it or truly understand it. It really took some time for the general public to catch up to it, but once it did it got the recognition it deserved.
I see very little to improve upon and there's really no need to introduce this to a new generation by producing a new version, it's been handed down generation to generation.
The last midnight screening I went to more than half of the audience was made up of a mix of high school and/or college students.
