Yes, friends and neighbors, this total f**king HORROR is finally over. Shame on all of you for watching this corporate tripe.
ALL of you!
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
very good point, foggymorning. You can't please everyone. Regardless of the outcome, it looks like of the final four girls will mostly likely get a chance to play Elle at least once. And all them have paying acting gigs. There are plenty of girls out there that would love to have that chance.
"Maybe I'll get lucky and get to see Lauren doing Elle in the tour. I think she'll progress very fast. "
That is my dream scenario!
"I feel like they only chose Bailey because she has more fans...if you look at the Vote Count Bailey is winning by like 40,000 which means of course, more ticket sales."
Lauren had over 46,000 votes. They had better not screw her out of 'fan favorite' as well!
I think that Autumn merely had an off-night as in all other auditions she was spunkier than she was last night. Or I'm wondering if these numbers weren't done more than one time and the "best" shown from Bailey's and the worst shown from Autumns. You never know. Autumn was off acting wise last night...there's no doubt about that.

I wish Autumn would have won. On her good days, she can sing and act circles around Bailey, although she needs to work on her dancing and her consistence as far as her performances go. Bailey's good, but it's clear IMO that she's impersonating Laura Bell Bundy. Maybe all the judges wanted was a LBB clone.
But I think Jerry Mitchell hit the nail on the head when he told the girls that neither one of them was ready to take on the role yet. But it's good that Autumn will get to understudy the role and perform in the ensemble. It'll really give her a chance to hone in on her dancing. And maybe she'll end up taking over the role on Broadway or on tour.

This should be very interesting. All I'm going to say is, Laura Bell Bundy knew exactly what she was getting into. She's been on Broadway for years. She's an old hand at at eight performances a week.
I hope this girl has plenty 'o stamina and iron lungs.
I agree, allofmylife. It'll be VERY interesting to see whether Bailey can keep up with the both the demands of the score, and the demanding 8-shows-a-week performance schedule!
I think Autumn has the stamina to keep up with the performance schedule, since she's performed in national tours such as Little Women.

I always thought the age change for Emmett was odd in the show. For some reason I gathered Emmett must be a third year or just earned his JD and was doing grunt work for Callahan to earn a place in his law firm. Maybe to make it less creepy for a romance? He was at least a year removed from grad school in film. Of course, the romance wasn't even mentioned in the movie until the and and Emmett and Elle never pursued each other in her first year.
I am thinking way too much about this. But yeah, Christian is looking old there next to Bailey.
