Please update your bookmarks/whatever to the new twitter address: http://www.twitter.com/BETMNY (instead of BETMUS). With the coming of the show to Chicago, its more accurate, and I do have BETMChicago saved in case a team forms there as well :)
Just wanted some opinions from you guys. Do you really think that Billy Elliot is already stale and losing the energy and show quality that it had when it opened? I've heard and read this on various forums and it kinda disappoints me considering I'm seeing the show for the first time in two weeks What do you think?
No, I completely disagree. I've seen the show 5 times and seen three of the four Billies. (All but David.) I think part of what keeps the show fresh is having four boys playing the title role, so each boy brings something fresh and different to the show. Also, the new Tony recently started, so that's another change. Regardless, I last saw the show two weeks ago and it was fabulous as usual. I already want to see it again!

Well actually its George Maguire's head(Photoshop magic,pre-production reaction shot of having his picture taken in the dress)...we have no idea who the rest belongs too...lol.
Has anyone seen the show from the Orchestra Right Partial view seats up close, like in Rows A-C? I'm looking at some tickets for next fall, but I wonder how much onstage action is missed from these far side seats. I have seen the show before, so I don't mind missing too much, but I'm bringing a friend who has never seen it.
Kerry O'Malley played her first performance as Mum in BILLY ELLIOT on Tuesday July 28th. O'Malley steps in for Leah Hocking, who originated the role, for 6 weeks while Hocking is away from the show.
Her final performance will be Sunday, September 6th.

if you really were concerned about getting tickets thru the cancellation line you would have to be in line a long time before the line up was posted on the board.
To Grief, Yes I have sat in the Right Orchestra Partial View Seats and they are the best seats! I have been in them almost everytime I see it and you dont miss a thing, in fact you are very close and get to see all the expressions on the actors faces. That makes for a great time at a show, personally. I hope you and your freind enjoy it, those seats are great! Updated On: 7/30/09 at 08:58 PM
I saw the show at the end of March with Trent as Billy and Keean as Michael. According to my relative who is a dresser for the show, it was Keean's first time playing Michael. I had a quick backstage tour that included meeting Carol Shelley, which I have been bragging about ever since. I sat in the third row of the balcony, third or forth seat from the furthest house right, and was a little disappointed to not be able to see a few seconds of dancing that was very far stage left. I can't express my love for the show in words. It is truly phenomenal.
Grife, I have. Row B Partial View Orch and I loved the view!

This question is kind similar to the one above. Will I miss anything from Right Orch row R seats 18-20? I just don't know if the seats are too far to the right in the row. I don't think the distance is a problem, though, as I sat center orch row V last time and wasn't bothered with how far from the stage we were. I just want to make sure my mom, who will be a first timer, won't miss anything. :) Thanks.. I realize that this post is me rambling completely.
I saw the show this past Wednesday night, the 29th, and absolutely loved it! I had Tommy as Billy and David as Michael. Tommy was fantastic and you could really see how thrilled he was to be on that stage performing
