The American Theatre Wing has announced the return of its acclaimed interview show ?Downstage Center,? back by popular demand. The show returns as a podcast on Monday, August 3 with Tony Award-winner and Billy Elliot star Gregory Jbara.
They are putting Kerry as an understudy, I saw the board the other day and she was listed there. They did the same thing for Blake when he filled in for Thommie.
Exactly. So, I guess she wasn't an understudy, then, but they haven't had the Playbill changed yet.
Kerry has a sweet voice, but she and Haydn weren't *quite* up to speed with each other during "The Letter." They probably just haven't worked out all of the kinks yet.
The roller coaster they are on, El Toro, is amazing. I was there yesterday, just felt like sharing. It happens to be higher than most of the other roller coasters there but I don't feel like correcting him on his website.

Thank God they made public. It took them awhile. I wonder if he is going to do three shows a week like he did with Mermaid. His photo from BWW seems alot more mature for Michael which is great, the others look like he can be small boy.
I LOVED it! It was my second time seeing it, the first time from the 41 dollar seats, and this time I was in Orchestra row E. It was insanely amazing how much it changed the show. While I loved it both times, seeing it from ten feet away, and the power of such scenes as the Letter, and Angry Dance is just incredible. I saw David A. and B. last time, and this time it was Tommy and Keean, so it was cool to see different people (although David A. did come out the stage door, so he must have been the standby Billy...anybody know what the things on his arms are for?). Trent was on as the Tall and Posh Boy (and it may have just been an off day for him, but he really didn't seem thrilled to be in the show as a different character...even at the stage door he was kinda "eh". The understudy for Grandma was on (I did see Carole last time, so I wasn't completely upset about that) and she was hysterical. Kerry was really good as Mum. It kind of seemed like she and Haydn hadn't had quite enough rehearsal time with their song yet, but it was still great.
I have to go to work now. Maybe more thoughts later.

Trent will be Billy for another six months.

I can't be sure about Kiril, but when I saw it Saturday with Tommy as Billy and Trent as Tall/Posh boy, David also came out of the stage door, but he had a thing on each arm. I am not sure what they are called, those black things that some people get after they've had a cast on, or if they've sprained their arm...I am not sure if anyone has any idea what I am talking about...haha
