I have a feeling 101.00 right part orch seats at least should be during peak holiday seasons. Surely not off peak, producers made a huge mistake.
Here's hoping... but I checked for a seat for my return to NY in October, and it came up as 101.50 for the right orch PV.

So there are SOME days when you can get those PV for 81...but holy crap if they think anyone wants to pay $146 for REAR MEZZ over the holidays...that's mental

Seems BE wants to get to num 1 in weekly grosses over Wicked smaller theater or not. Advance sales must be REALLY good to justify those prices, or they are insane. So far evidence shows people will pay that...go figure. Might increase the luck of the Cancellation line or bring back Student rush as a plus. And who knows...sometime in the far future something like the wonder that is Day Tickets like in London will appear(far FARRRR future at this rate).
"My wallet just fainted...."
Seriously! $20 could've gone towards dinner. What were they thinking!!
God, I love the Londay day tickets and row B for 25 quid ...

In 6 months or so we will have a complete change over in Billys on Broadway. Get used to it cause it'll happen again and again and again (If we are lucky add on a few more agains)Id say London is on the 3rd again.
At the risk of sounding like a complete loser I was wondering if anyone has seen Will Chase play Tony in Billy Elliot? I am going to see the play soon, I adore Will. I am just wondering how he is in it.
I saw it on Saturday for the 6th time and Will Chase was great. Far superior to the original.
The sad part is that made me smile... Thanks so much!
Yes, I've seen Will in it a few times now and he's great. He has really good chemistry with Greg Jbara in particular.
Any chance he would be in a wednesday eveing performace... is there any way I can find these things out before I leave on my long treck to manhattan.
Will's supposed to be doing every performance - after all, he's not a kid. Of course, there are never guarantees, and I can't tell you how long he's contracted for or if he's planning a vacation.
lol... these damn stars are so unperdictable. Well i'll just keep my fingers crossed that I acutally get to see him in this show. If I ask at the box office before I buy tickets they will let me know if he is playing that night right?
People at the BO don't know anything - sorry. But take heart - you'll definitely have a better chance of catching Will than a specific Billy and/or Michael! And you'll have a great time even if Will's out ... he was very good, but he doesn't have much to sing.
Although this reminds me - Gwynne was out when I saw the show. Since her name is above the title, theoretically, people would be entitled to a refund, correct? (Of course, to do so at a performance where Kiril is on is probably one of the dumbest things anyone could ever do. Besides, Jayne Paterson was terrific - since she didn't get promoted, I hope she can play Mrs. W in Chicago!)
