Gwynne's name isn't above the title so no, people aren't entitled to a refund. And Jenna Maroney is right....people at the box office don't know anything about people in or out of the show. I do know that Will wasn't in the show tonight though. Jeff Kready was on as Tony.
I, for one, think Tanner should end his Billy-ness with a triumphant return to Broadway that lasts more than five seconds. Where's Linda when we need a good petition started? I can't imagine she'd take well to the Broadway loss of Kiril and Tommy followed by the general loss of Tanner all in such a short span of time.
Hmmmm...something inaccurate about those measurements. He's definitely not 4'5" right now.
"Alvarez was a four-foot tall cherubic boy when he first started playing Billy, a little English boy from a working-class mining town who has dreams of dancing ballet. Today, he is in full-blown adolescence and those awkward growth spurts are happening on the set and behind the scenes.
"I grew 5 inches from the first day I started playing him," he says. "One morning I woke up and said ?Whoa, what happened??" he says, chuckling." Updated On: 9/23/09 at 04:11 PM
I was hoping you guys could help me (I posted a comment a few weeks ago and you were all helpful, so I was hoping you could help me again!).
I waited too long to order my tickets for next week and now telecharge is saying there are no seats available in my price range ($81.50). What are the odds that there would be some tickets at the box office once it opens that morning? Also, how are the partial view mezzanine and orchestra seats (as a back up. i don't want the partial view but it would appear that I am a moron and I am running out of time! Thank you in advance!
If there are tickets available that morning, I doubt they would be the more inexpensive ones. You'll be fine with right orchestra or front mezzanine partial views, tho.
With Tanner finishing in London on the 26th, David Bologna finishing in NYC on the 27th and Kiril finishing on Oct 3rd the Billy Elliot Forum have been running a daily photo countdown. There are some photos on there that have never been seen before so if you would like to have a look then go to the following links.
The stage door tonight was the most emotional I have ever seen it. 3-4 of the Ballet girls and David B. said there goodbyes, they all have a bright future ahead of them!
