Once Newsies Tony Ghost Nice Work If You Can Get It >
Three of them seem like locks to me, but...Ghost? IS word of mouth that good? I'm sort of hoping that reviews come along and surprise everyone by being positive for Leap of Faith. And I could see Ghost getting panned. Then again, that's solely because that's how I felt.
And I'm putting it out there: I don't think Elena Roger will get a nod for Evita.

You left out the obvious, Kelli O'Hara. I think the biggest question mark for best actress is Roger after the reviews. If anything, Bernadette might sneak in as the 5th nominee in her place. I think this is actually one of the more interesting categories though as Jan, Audra, and Cristin all received tremendous accolades and are all giving (or gave) tremendous performances. I know often the voters revert back to just giving their regulars an award in a competitive category so I think Audra will walk away the winner but it's certainly tough competition.

I'll bet Rob Ashford will be more surprised than anyone if Rob Marshall gets nominated for Best Choreography for Evita as so many of you have predicted!
Could Jennifer Damiano sneak in as the 5th nomination for Best Actress?
And remember, they could throw us a curveball like they did last year -- everyone said that Aaron Tveit and Danielle Radcliffe were locks with one of them winning, and neither boy was nominated.
My fear is that if Jan and Bernie are nominated together, they could possibly cancel each other out, even though Jan is the stronger of the two.
Could Jennifer Damiano sneak in as the 5th nomination for Best Actress?
DEFINITELY not. I saw her in the show. Her character/role was very "blah". She will not be getting nominated. The general consensus on here has been that the 5th spot will be between Peters and Roger. I personally think Roger should be a lock, but that's not the case.

I'm not sure Spider-Man will be left out of the nominees for Best Musical. Once, Newsies and Nice Work are likely, but the options for the last slot are:
Bonnie and Clyde Lysistrata Jones Ghost Leap of Faith Spider-Man
If both Leap of Faith and Ghost get roundly panned, Spider-Man might make it in. (Lysistrata Jones might as well.)

huh? Judy Kaye should not only get a nomination, she was the standout featured musical actress of the season, let alone the standout featured actress in Nice Work.
Judy Kaye is pretty much a lock on featured actress in a musical this year. I also believe that Michael McGrath will be nominated. After seeing Leap of Faith, I think Raul will be nominated but I don't see this show getting many nominations overall, especially not best musical. I think Ghost or Spiderman will beat Leap out.
The only review of a show that matters is your own.
^If he's ever there. In all seriousness I hope he recovers quickly but the nominating committee may not have a chance to see him, depending how long he's out.

He posted on twitter. "I'll be kicking before the Matzo goes away" I don't know what Matzo is? Matza? right? End of Passover? Why so cryptic? Anyway isn't it over tonight?

These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
After seeing Nice Work tonight, I can say with assurance that Judy Kaye will be getting a nomination. She will also probably take home the award, and rightly so. She's absolutely genius in the show.
