"Oh look at the time, three more intelligent plays just closed and THE ADDAMS FAMILY made another million dollars" -Jackie Hoffman, Broadway.com Audience Awards
The only actor from Newsies that should be under any 'true' consideration is Jeremy Jordan. Everyone else was servicable and incredibly ordinary. This show succeeds because of Jordan and the choreography. (Even though the choreography is nothing but flash and dazzle.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I disagree. Kara was my favorite part of the show. Jordan was fine, but the choreography, while good, felt tedious after a while. I found Kara very refreshing. But I suppose that's for a different thread.
