Please let previews begin somewhere around the 10th till the 18th Feb?
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
WHAT?!!!! OH MY GOD! Okay, I will not calm down about this, ever. And it might not be a musical, but yes to Toni Collette back on Broadway! Finally! Booking a trip right now.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
It can't go into the Barrymore-the revival of "Raisin in the Sun" is there. So, rest assured, it may go to a theater with standing room. (Raisin's dates are the same so it most definitely won't be there.) It may go into the Booth or the Golden.
I may die with you, Clyde. I am beyond excited about that cast.
Had a horrific morning of severe family drama of which I'll spare you all the details. This is the first thing to make me smile all day. I love Toni Collette and have dreamed of seeing her on stage...
"I know now that theatre saved my life." - Susan Stroman
Marisa Tomei? Yes, please! And excited to see Tracy Letts on stage again as well. What a fantastic cast. I'd go to see them on stage if they spent 2 hours reading the Manhattan phone book.
OMG, I'm SO SO SO SO SO happy that MAMMA MIA is occupying the most painfully uncomfortable theater ever put on this planet. Hopefully it will stay there for many many years!!
I like the Broadhurst. At least there is standing room there and it's an intimate theater. I think there are more uncomfortable theaters than that one. (It depends where you sit, too!)
The Golden does not have standing room. If First Date doesn't last past New Year's, maybe the Longacre??
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I'm curious if this will affect Sam Gold's involvement with THE REAL THING, since he's supposed to direct that on Broadway for Roundabout around the same time frame.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Was very surprised when the Yale Rep production (which included a star in Parker Posey, and fantastic actors in Glenn Fitzgerald and Johanna Day) didn't soon after find a NYC life at a major off-Broadway house. This feels VERY high-art for Broadway these days, but I couldn't be more excited for the cast and for Mr. Eno.

From what I've heard, that production is currently very much up in the air due to Roundabout being unable to secure the names they want.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
