The Royal Family is a revival, not a new play. And is Oleanna technically a revival? I know it isn't a new play, but it's never been on Broadway before.

I would imagine it would be ruled a revival, like the Little Shop in 2003. Technically, they aren't Broadway revivals, but you could imagine what would happen if a play or musical that was ten or fifteen years old and already performed on every college campus and community theatre in the country won in the non-revival category?
True, I was just going by The American Plan, which had a reasonably prominent New York production (at MTC, in fact) in 1990 and was considered a "new" play last season.

Oh, I hadn't even realized. Well, then I don't know at all. Maybe that was because Greenberg tinkered with the original script?

Man, I hope we get a real new musical or two that isn't on that list...
The plays are looking great, and those three musical revivals all have me psyched.

Isn't The First Wives' Club coming? I think it's in Cali for the summer and headed to NYC in the fall.
I am not that excited for the new musicals.

Hi! I refer to the "Database" section of this site as well as playbill.... they are updated pretty consistantly, yes?
Is burn the floor technically a musical? I thought it was just a Dance show.
Thanks to the new Tony rules, everything is either a play or a musical. Period.
You...are...kidding! Why would they do that?

Is Spiderman going to be in this season or next season?
