in the post on instagram, they refer to “two diner bffs coming back”. they also need a new jenna cause nicolette is bowing out in a few days. maybe jessie mueller is coming back, though a friend told me that an usher said that jessie called understudies on for the end of her carousel run and they were pretty sure she was working on another project.
a little off topic but i hear a lot that jessie can be quite....a prima donna. any stories on this?

Is Lenne leaving? It does seem strange to me that Alex is leaving all the sudden as he only joined 2 months ago.

i highly doubt it. the post seems to be saying that the two have been in the show together before. and i know laura had auditioned to be jenna before but it seems a little too random

but they need a new jenna. they either announce a new one or announce that stephanie is taking over for the holiday season and it’s probably gonna be the former.

Not necessarily. Chris is starting next week. If new Jenna is planned for later on, they can announce it later on. There have often been breaks between Jenna’s and Stephanie goes on in the meantime. Wishing it could be Stephanie full time but I get you need a name to sell tickets.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Girl From The North Country is closing this weekend. If there's no Broadway plans (although there seem to be, but what do I know?), maybe Caitlin is the best bet for coming back as Dawn. But I can't believe they would have Lenne's run be so short. I have no idea who they could be building up to.
Some did tell me the person they have coming in for Jenna hasn't played the role before...supposedly. I don't know! At this point I feel like anything is possible. But I would never wish a closing on a show. There have been shows i don't like but I never wish a closing on them. Can we stop with that? It's like wishing people into unemployment.
