Urkel in 'Dreamgirls"?

Was Steve Urkel, I think his name is something like Jaleel White, in Dreamgirls as the stage manager at the talent show in the beginning of the film? I could have sworn that was him!

Sure is; my friend's sister dates him and she was telling us all about his home last week when we were celebrating New Year's Eve; I mentioned that I saw him in Dreamgirls and she said that he talked very very briefly about it when they were at lunch. I always liked Jaleel White.

When I saw it, there were giggles in the audience at the sight of Urkel. Later, bigger giggles at John Lithgow looking ridiculous as the movie director (along with some recognition of John Krasinski - Jim from "The Office").

I heard that Jaleel White was in "Dreamgirls." I understand it would be hard not to see him as Urkel. He was also the voice of "Sonic the Hedgehog" in the cartoons in the 90s. The one that first aired on ABC, on Saturday morning, is one of my favorite cartoons of all time(Sonic and Sally forever).

I loved how John Lithgow looked so ridiculous and John Krasinski didn't look all that different at all.

Colle -- Aww, I loved those Sonic cartoons! I was a little amazed when I found out that he did the voice for both series.

(And yeah, I was always partial to the Saturday morning one, too.)

Laura was one of the girls singing behind the Pat Boone wanna be at the end of 'Cadillac Car.'

Laura Bell Bundy was hilarous during the "Cadillac Car" scene, especially when she opens her arms during the last "star," definitely one of the funniest moments in the film.
