Her attendance is excellent. She was sick a few weeks ago, and missed a few performances. But that, if memory serves me well, is a rarity.
If attendance (anyones) was an issue, it would be talked about.....like when Beanie's absences. (As an example, not to drag her.)
I believe Colleen's only gone on a few times. Victoria is definitely scheduled for 8 performances each week and I think she almost always performs them all.
It cracks me up when people talk about "attendance" like it's a grade school.

So you were being "nice" when you questioned her integrity? It is good to know that she is a good girl and not a bad girl, though.

I’m not your Kimberly Levaco, I’m your bad Kimberly Levaco.
Hi Op, I just wanted to dispel the strange myth of people not doing a matinee or thinking it's somehow less important to show up than the evening show. That isn't true, they are scheduled for 8 shows a week (unless it's been stated elsewhere). Come to think of it, the only time people in shows have been off (that I really wanted to see), have all been evening shows. I hope this rumor can now be shut down forever. Take care.

ffs
asking about attendance is not necessarily questioning a performer's attendance, particularly when matinee is specified since it is not unusual in some shows for a lead to not do all matinees
nor is noting the amusing nature of the word attendance as it is tossed around here automatically an unkind sentiment since taking attendance is indeed most commonly associated with school days
given the fact that many broadway performers are filled in by understudies or standbys every week is is it really offensive to ask if the star of a show is consistently there? does it have to be a diatribe against victoria clark?
Colleen Fitzpatrick will go on for Kimberly from March 6-12, as Clark takes a vacation.

This singular question isn't really a problem However, we get a goodly number of them and that's were some people get annoyed. These questions seem to come from our-of-towners who are just getting their exposure to professional theater.
For the record: Unless otherwise stated, Broadway performers are contracted for eight performances a week.
Go, enjoy the show but keep in mind that actors are human and the occasionally get sick.
There was nothing wrong with the ops question...they even mentioned knowing nothing was guaranteed.
You people can be overly critical. All the time. No, not everyone realizes how things work on bway...so they asked. BFD.

Yeah, but I'd like to know when someone is taking their PTO so I don't schedule a meeting I'd like them to be at.

Years ago one member of BWW made up a list of the most frequently asked questions on these boards. Questions about the reliability of certain stars skipping performances was at the top of the list. If I could remember the name of the thread I'd re-post it.

Just chiming in to say that I attended one of Colleen's performances and thought she was excellent.

If anyone seems to have an attendance issue with this show its Steven Boyer
I've gone three times and every time he was out
I’ve seen the show 6x since opening and he hadn’t been in once. I saw it again last Wed matinee and there was a new cover on for the role who apparently only had a few hours notice. I love that stuff when at curtain call everyone on stage just steps to the side to applaud the person and single them out for what they’ve done.

For the record, I have never, ever seen Charlotte D'Amboise. She's out every single time I go to a show she's in. This has been going on for years!

Was it AJ Holmes? I saw him in it last Thursday and thought he was terrific! For the record, I’ve seen it two other times and Steven was in.
Yep! I had to check Victoria’s Instagram post to make sure it was but yes he was excellent!!
I’m lucky then bc I caught the full cast. They were wonderful. I keep telling everyone to see this show.
