EDEN ESPINOSA!!!!
Just kiding. Julie Andrews, while she was only in 4 or 5 shows, she is long overdue for a Tony.
"This isn't overdue. But I think that Jackman and Tartaglia should have tied this year."
As much as I love John, I think if anyone should of tied with Hugh, it should of been Euan.

Schwartz does deserve a tony.
Not overdue but Douglas Sills should have at least been nominated for LSOH
re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#56
Posted: 8/19/04 at 3:16pmI agree jacobtsf. I also think that Urinetown should have been nominated as well as Jeff McCarthy and Hunter Foster. Hunter Foster, now there's someone who's Tony is overdue.
re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#57
Posted: 8/19/04 at 3:17pmHunter Foster is not WAY OVERDUE. Tovah Feldshuh is WAY OVERDUE.
re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#58
Posted: 8/19/04 at 3:19pmHunter Foster is only 34. He has been nominated only once. He is not overdue. But he'll most likely get one eventually.
The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.
re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#59
Posted: 8/19/04 at 3:21pmI just meant that he was snubbed for Urinetown and this past year...well, I think we all knew that Hugh Jackman was going to win.
re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#60
Posted: 8/19/04 at 3:31pmThe late John Larson deserves a Tony for tick, tick, BOOM! and a gigantic one for RENT.

He wasn't snubbed.
I did not enjoy his performance. I've never really enjoyed his performances. I keep trying...giving him the benefit of the doubt.
No dice.

Posted: 8/19/04 at 5:59pmMarin Mazzie......0 for 3 so far, and I don't mean to offend because I didn't see Cabaret but I really think she shoul dhave won for Ragtime. She was awe-inspiring in that show!

re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#69
Posted: 8/19/04 at 8:15pmStrStruck, come back to me in 20 years if Hunter has been working consistently and still hasn't received a Tony. THEN he'll be "WAY overdue." Until then, don't tell me to give it a rest.
re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#70
Posted: 8/19/04 at 8:18pmWow, sorry! I had no idea that I couldn't post my opinions on the message board. My sincere apologies. I'll be sure to remember that next time!
re: Way Overdue TONY AWARDS#71
Posted: 8/19/04 at 8:20pmTelling me to "give it a rest" is not an opinion. It's rude and uncalled for.
