A new movie with Anthony. Sounds cool.

Danny Roane: First Time Director (2005) (filming) .... Anthony
Scaring the Fish (2006) (post-production) .... Gene
Rent (2005) (completed) .... Mark Cohen

I'm excited for all of them now! Especially the last one. Scaring the Fish..

Anything with Anthony in it is good. :)

The Danny Roane thing sounds...interesting. I'm just having a hard time picturing Andy Dick writing something that's serious. Oh well. I'll probably still see it anyway. Anthony playing himself, come on now. Scaring the Fish.

I think this Danny Roane movie is going to be hilarious... I was reading the summary and can't wait.

Well Scaring the Fish also has Max Casella in it. If there are any Newsies fans out there.

Scaring the Fish sounds very interesting. Not alot of info up about it yet but I'm anticipating more to come. As well as the new Andy Dick movie. Never been a huge fan of the actor himself, but you never know. It sounds entertaining at the least.

With that being said, I have nothing else to do besides count ceiling tiles so I've decided to bring back the thread yet again. I miss it when it goes off into the recesses of BWW and I have no where to vent my random craziness. :-/ It would be wrong to let this thread die away after all the crazy/good/hilarious times here that have caused me to choke on water many a time. Still meaning to print this all out and publish some kind of unofficial book for general entertainment, or at least a keepsake/memoir of my teen years to look back on years from now......*shakes head out of inner-reverie* Right well, you all get the idea anyways. Keep the Anthony love alive!

*Anthony love*

Well, he found Inapropo Thoughts which is scary, yet hilarious. And he told us to continue with our fun. :)

School Ties was on this morning, and I knew Anthony was in it, so I had to watch. He's such an ass in it! Geez.

I read that and I thought that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in months. :-P I do have to give him kudos for his constant and apparently fairly indestructable tolerance for his crazier fans. 99% of people would probably run screaming, pass out from shock or call the cops. At least he's given you his blessings to continue without any threat of a legal lawsuit. I wouldn't be scared, he seems like a very open minded person. I actually joined the community a while ago because I always got a kick out of the posts but I never had/have anything to say on the topic so I'm just a lurker. One of these days I'll post though......

Yeah I might, just a little "Hi, I'm here and now you know" kind of deal. :-P You guys seem like a very entertaining/fun bunch of people. I will have you know though that I choked on water and almost fell off my chair when I saw the fan fics. :-P Good times.

Lol. Dream you and I should seriously write a book about these things and our little comments. They would be funny. Hilarious at some points probably. Nick laughs on occasion. But then he puts up with it too so there you go.

Haha so true, Race, so true. The cult one this past Thusrday made me do that. Only I wasn't at home clutching a pillow, I was backstage watching it on the TV in the guy's dressing room in between my scenes with the tech guy, 2 other cast members and the guy who helps take care of the goat. We all kept voicing what we thought happened and who killed who etc. Fun times. It has become our weekly routine. We told our director that if he ever hears screams from the stage area its just us, so he doesn't have to worry that someone got killed or kidnapped backstage. But that is an entirely different story. :-P

And Race, we seriously shoud write a book! "The Highlights of the Anthony Rapp Thread: As told by Racetrack and Dreamcatcher" Heheh, sounds like a plan to me!

Hey, for those who missed the thread on the OPEN HOUSE soundtrack, I directed Anthony in that real estate musical which comes out on DVD Nov. 15. As promised, I cut together some exclusive footage of Anthony talking about OPEN HOUSE, and in particular comparing it to his experience with RENT and with performing on Broadway. In OPEN HOUSE, Anthony and all the actors sang live on set, with no lip syncing or dubbing - a different approach to how they did it on RENT and most other movie musicals. In our case, it gave us much more flexibility and intimacy with the performances. Anyway, hear what Anthony thinks! (oh, and based on the last discussion, I made sure to include a shot of Jenna Leigh Green). I've also got our trailer up there now. Both clips should be downloadable for your fancy new iPodVideo to have in line for Rent! (Remember, if you want the film, you should order it now on Amazon or Netflix.). For the clips, go to our homepage, click to the DVD intro page, then scroll to the bottom. If you like what you see, please spread the word. Thanks! - Dan

Ohh thanks for the info! Anthony Clips Online I was just saying, not 5 min ago, that i wish I had more info about both Open House and Scaring the Fish. That's irony if I've ever seen it. I shall check it out now. Thanks again, and I can't wait to see these special features. Everyone remind me to keep water or any drinkable liquid out of my reach.

And on a slightly related note, Jenna Leigh Green is awsome! I got the chance to see her perform in Wicked and meet her at the stagedoor after the show in LA and not only did she perform beautifully as Nessa (a hard role to shine in, I still stand by) but she is a very nice person as well.

OH MY *clutches heart* Anthony (and now many others) have read my humble fics? My lovely 'Adam and Anthony get naked and maughty fics'?...Anthony has read my fics?...

*is somewhere between shame and elation, pride and utter terror*

You don't like...fear me, do you Anthony?

I just went to the Open House site and watched the clips...
I am going to get that movie the second it comes out...jumped leap upon it at the store and clutch it to my heart (As I did when I found Queer As Folk seasons 1-3 for the price of ONE!) and shout, embarassingly at the top of my semi-powerful lungs, "VICTORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYY!!!"
Anthony...your geekdom knows no bounds and I love you for it. You still haven't replaced Wil Wheaton as my all-time geek hero (don a space-suit and we'll talk about it), but my boy, do I adore you.

Now, the line lies between whether it's Anthony and Adam, or if it's Mark and Roger.

Granted, that's a really f*cking blurry line.

I don't doubt they know that stuff's out there. Anthony Clips Online

I know, I haven't had an excuse to get embarassingly excited at Tower in a while (not since Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition and CSI Season 4 came out.....*cough* yeah, I know, my geekiness is remarkable isn't it?)and now here's a new opportunity! Anthony Clips Online I was too tired to wait for the clips to load last night but I shall watch them tonight and rejoice!

And I think its rather funny about the whole exposure of the
Adam/Anthony fics. But as Emcee said, you've got to consider the pages and pages (yes there are really that many plus more probably) of Mark/Roger fics that exist in which alot of people no doubt imagine Anthony and Adam in said roles so one must figure that its already generally known about to some degree. Oh well, at least you're not getting mailed about restraining orders or lawsuits etc. :-P Anthony, if you still read our posts here, your tolerance for us is insane and stuff of legend. We thank you very much for that!

I know that. I was just wondering that since filming is done maybe he could come back. I guess not though. Does anyone know when he can? After the movie is released in theaters? Or does it have to be even longer like until it's released on DVD? Oh well, at least there's always the Rent blog.
