What'd his hair look like? I've never seen Dazed and Confused, does he do something particularly unusual/crazy/cute with it? Ahhh why must I miss the good things on TV and be left with MTV???? *cries*

Don't get me wrong, it looks cute but I never thought I'd see him with hair that long. Is it his real hair or extensions/wig? Wow. Cute though, normally not a big fan of the long hair on guys but Anthony pulls it off well I must say.

Anyways, colleen, don't worry I've had many a dream of this thread before. Also some of the most disturbing dreams I've ever had but there you go. Goodnight all!

Hahaha Race. :-P Yes, I know, I could write a novel on the disturbing dreams and become a psychologist's best friend but we'll save that for PM's shall we? Yes, I think so.

In all honesty, had I not seen the photo evidence of Anthony with that hair, I probably wouldn't have believed it if someone tried to tell me. I don't know why, its just really hard to imagine unless you see it in front of your own two peepers. Alright well, speaking of peepers, mine are burning rather amazingly after a long essay on the Puritan Literature (yeah, its about as bad as it sounds)so I'm off to give them a break as I go to sleep. Just wanted to let Anthony fans know that "Open House" - the real estate musical film that he stars in - is finally coming out on DVD on Nov. 15th - about a week before "Rent." (But I think you can preorder on Amazon and Netflix.) It'll be a great chance to tune-up with Anthony while you're waiting in line for "Rent." I'm the director of the film, and I'm happy to say that he's amazing in it and was a real joy to work with. For more info, go to the "Open House" site.

By the way, someone in this thread said there was a Blockbuster that had it a few months ago - if true, it was a bootleg - but more likely a different movie with the same name. I just finished editing the DVD a week ago, and it has loads of extras that prominently feature Anthony - including a split screen of him singing our opening number in one continuous take (like all the actors in the film, Anthony sang live on set, with no lip syncing). He's also on the commentary and featurettes.

Hooray for the Open House DVD!! First David Searching on DVD, now this. That makes me so happy. I think I was the one who said that it was at Blockbuster also. They didn't have it but when I asked they said they used to carry it so I'm not sure if it was the same one or not. Anyways, I'll definitly pre-order it, I've been wanting to see it for quite some time now. Thanks for the heads up. Showing the Anthony Love

So, how cute is Anthony on the soundtrack?

I just...yeah...I'm so incoherent when trying to describe it. Yummy, Anthony, just...yummy.

Rent- Growling=sex, so keep it up Ant.
You'll See Boys- I just love it, all to say
Today 4 U- Why did you steal Adam's line? *slaps wrist* Naughty Anthony, give Adam back his line.
Tango: Maureen- There are no words. Beautiful, amazing, sexy, powerful...er, guess there are words.
Santa Fe- I see, you took Adam's line because he took yours. Fair trade (Roger's not supposed to be in Santa Fe *gets off soapbox*)
La Vie Boheme- Great as always. VIVA LA SEXY ANTHONY THRUST! I mean, what? *cough*
Halloween- wibbage in song form (wibbage means sadness and emotional). Just heartbreaking as always, Anthony.
Goodbye Love- the Mark/Roger fight. Done perfectly. The slasher in me applauds loudly for the 'tension', but seriously, it was amazingly real...my friends and I sound like when we fight too.
What You Own- You and Adam should never do this song without each other. You're such a great team, tremendous.
Finale B- I will admit I cried right as you sang Mark's line. Bawling on the bus, scared people I'm sure
Love Heals- Wow. Just...wow. Amazing


As for Open House, finally I can start really pestering the poeple at Suncoast! Glee!

I agree 110% incedniary, with your commentary. Showing the Anthony Love I have been swooning over the entire cast all day and as a result, walked into a couple poles from lack of attention to whats in front of me and I missed when about 10 different people called my name out to get my attention throughout the day. Oops. Anyways, everyone sounds absolutely ****ing incredible! And Love Heals is so beautiful and well done. My god, seriously, it's heartwrenching and lovely and amazing. And during Goodbye Love, during the Mark/Roger fight Anthony doesn't sound as angry and I actually prefer it to the OBCR. He sounds much sadder and despairing and hurt and its so much more intense and a great contrast to Adam's temper and flaring/loud attacks. Ahhhh so much excitement! And too much sugar for Mika. Hense the long semi-coherent ramble. Showing the Anthony Love Anyways, if Anthony happens to be reading this...Amazing job!!

I agree, Love Heals is such an amazing songs. The lyrics, the harmonies, and Idina shines in that song as does Tracie. Tracie just wowed me with her solos in that song and her and Adam's voice sound great together. I'm slightly obsessed with that song now. :-P

Actually, Incendiary, I was a bit confused by the whole Today 4 U line. Not that Anthony sings it in this recording, but the OBC recording. I have a copy of the '96 press video and Anthony sings that line in the video.

Anthony, care to explain?

Other than that, I agree with Incendiary's commentary- I absolutely love the way you phrased the "for somebody who's always been let down" line, and then Adam's little sigh before "I'll call". You both had me squeeing.

I agree with you, Dreamcatcher, Tracie and Adam do sound great together. We should all dream up the ultimate musical and give them songs to sing together because it just works. Anthony and Rosario sounded really good together, too...

Okay, screw trying to tell everything I liked about it. The whole damn thing rocks. ^_^

P.S. Anthony, the pictures in the soundtrack booklet of you and Tracie's Tango made me literally stop breathing for a few seconds. Then I flipped to Adam's picture and again forgot to breathe. YOu sexy people are harzardous to my health. *wink* =8->

I am in love with the recording tho the broadway recording will always be #1. I'm in LOVE LOVE LOVE with Tango Maureen, Traci and Anthony sound great together!!! Overall it's a good thing, i can't wait to see how it's all put together on film.

Seriously, the tango pic of Anthony and Tracie is adorable. I love how it looks like Anthony is kind of getting squashed by Tracie's fro. But I mean that in a really good way, that's what happens with me and my friend whenever we dance. :-P I squeed so much when I saw that pic. :-P

I really need to start showing my love for Anthony! He's in my top 3 fave actors and I don't post in this thread! ::hangs head in shame:: He's just simply amazing and I can't get enough of him. I refused to get the RENT sountrack if he wasn't on the cover, 5 stores later I finally got it, lol. He's just so talented. He doesn't deserve to be 5 pages into the BWW abyss!!
