Posted: 11/3/14 at 4:01pmA few years back (well maybe more than a few) I think she would have been well suited for the lead in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD. She's always struck me as a bit masculine (definitely not a stylish Mame Dennis type). Her PERFECT STRANGERS and last note in I HAVE SEEN THE WRITING ON THE WALL could've been really good.

You know, when they finally decide to try and put CATS back on Broadway (which we all know they will one of these days), the only thing that'd save the show would be Celine Deion as
Grizabella. That's a guaranteed sell out every night of her run.
