I thought you just called many of the older mature posters on here "kids" ? did you not? Higgins, along with many other posters here, are FAR from being "kids"

Of course Patti has her flaws but she's absolutely brilliant in GYPSY. From someone who's seen many reincarnations of the production over the last 30 years, I completely disagree that Patti has ruined it. She's made it better!

You don't have to like her but there's no doubt that she does a great job. You're also basing your opinion off of a recording and a BOOTLEG -- get off your ass and go see the show.

I've been in the professional theatre for over 30 years thanks.

The reason i posted what i did was purely to see how fast the Bullies Of Broadway would desend- and sure enough it took seconds! Its hysterical watching you lot. The other night when you layed into some poor kid was nothing short of, of? sad, yea sad. The name Wickedboy2 wasn't my choice- mine would have been 'MamasDoingFine'.

Don't play all innocent. You bring your fair share of negativity on the Broadway board too, Wickedboy. If you can't stand the Broadway board this much - jesus get the hell off of it and stay with your buddies on the West end board.

I reeeally don't understand what has happened to this Board. Many of you love Patti LuPones performance in Gypsy.

However there are also many of us who didnt. I don't understand why so many people get SO defensive about that! I love Broadway, and I love Patti. I just didn't like the performance she gave the night I saw Gypsy. If I left it at that, I feel like many of you would call this "Patti bashing."

I'm not bashing the woman at all! I just did not care for her performance and don't want her to win the Tony. I don't see the need for name calling. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.
