I also love how people suggest the hottest show in NY for the past ten years as something Universal Studios would give away for free right now. Before a film version was even made.

I'm hearing from some very high placed sources that it will be "Oh! Calcutta!"
....but the world goes 'round

I know a live production of "Wicked" wouldn't actually happen, I was just saying that I would like to see it happen, even though it wont.

I'm hearing it's going to be a Gilbert & Sullivan mash-up. A miniseries of sorts.

Jen was dubbed in "House at the end of the street". Not sure about Hunger Games. They should do Funny Girl with Chris Colfer as the lead.

It's going to be Elaine Stritch in Sail Away. Everyone loves a good old-fashioned Noel Coward tune. And she'll have a whole new way of singing Why Do The Wrong People Travel?
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

My Fair Lady with Anne Hatheway would be bitchin. Or Carousel with Megan Hilty!

I hope Marni Nixon is available because Anne couldn't hit the last note of "I Could Have Danced All Night".

We could just pluck a fresh face MT girl from Carnegie Mellon ( soon to be waitress) to dub Anne for the last note.

"I noticed that Kelly Clarkson and Michael Buble did TV specials for NBC last month. I wouldn't doubt it if one of them will be featured in this year's broadcast."
I feel like I remember seeing/reading an interview in the not too distant past where Kelly Clarkson has said she has no interest in acting again after her experience with that movie she did with Justin Guarini shortly after she won American Idol.

Kelly has done guest roles on TV since, including her tv special in which she did some acting in the frame story.

The fact that Jennifer Lawrence is even being discussed is hysterical to me. The girl is an Academy Award winning who's career is on fire do you honestly think she's going to do a one time televised version of a musical? HA.
With that being said, I would love to see herself and Ellie Kemper do the film version if "Wicked".

Lovely acapella cover of Heart of the Matter by Ariana Grande:
I think it's about forgiveness

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Kelly Clarkson should star in Annie Get Your Gun, with Blake Shelton as Frank.

I would like to see Christina Aguilera as the title role in A Chorus Line.
