Quite a few of the titlespeople have mentioned in this threadsurviveas archival videos in the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive (TOFT). They're not online, but they do exist. This would include A Chorus Line (taped in 1975 at the Public), Amadeus withIan McKellen, City of Angels, Lend Me a Tenor with Philip Bosco, and Seussical. TOFT has a video of The Fantasticks at the Sullivan Street Playhouse, although it wasn't taped until 1985. (Ironically, the producerswanted it taped because they thought the show was about to close, but it ran for another 17 years.) TOFT also has the 2006 revival of that show with lyricist Tom Jones in the cast. Zero Mostel can be seen in the 1977 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Jerome Robbins was said to be unhappy with the performance captured on tape, but it does exist.
There are also B-rolls (i.e. excerpts, but not the complete show) for Starmites and Moose Murders, as well as a B-roll -- very brief, unfortunately -- of the 1987 Les Liaisons Dangereuses with Alan Rickman and Lindsay Duncan."
Oh man. It'd be so cool to either watch A Chrous Line or Moose Murders. I'm more interested in Moose Murders because I don't think it's a show a lot of people have heard of given it's reception in the theater community--the fact that it's probably one of the biggest flops in Broadway history.

But isn't the archival video of A Chorus Line the same one that's readily available on YouTube (albeit a bad copy)?"
Yup. That's the same one only the master copy is in excellent quality and even includes an announcement stating that the performance is being filmed for the archives.

PINS AND NEEDLES was a studio album, it wasn’t a stage production. She took part in that studio album due to her association with I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE, both of which were written by Harold Rome."
WOW! Thanks for the clarification - I always thought P & N was a short-lived musical. I never realized it was just a studio album, and I've been a fan of Barbra's since 1977 ! Thanks again!

20 year old Streisand would have been fantastic singing those songs in character on stage but sadly, it had to be in our imagination. She was playing Miss Marmelstein over at the Shubert Theatre when she recorded her songs featured in this studio album:
I would love to see footage of A Little night music. I know Glynis and Len recreated Send in the clowns on the PBS show but ALNM didn't perform of the Tonys nor I ever seen any clips from talk shows or places like that
Any preserved recording of Mary Martin's "Oak Leaf Monologue" and final monologue from Hello, Dolly! There's an audio recording out there of her songs from the Tokyo stop of the world tour, and of course the London cast album, but nothing of her book scenes, which are just as important as the music in the story.
I’ve been searching for a few older shows that Carolee Carmello has done (Hello Again, Mamma Mia, Scandalous, Kiss me Kate, etc) and cannot seem to find them anywhere. I’m sure they exist (in bootleg form). Also please point me in the right direction if you know of them!
After listening to the 1998 UK Cast Recording of the Rocky Horror Show, I'd absolutely kill for a video of Jason Donovan as Frank. He sounds absolutely perfect, as does the rest of the cast...
Also UK and Rocky Horror related: Anything of David Bedella as Hedwig. He was a very interesting and different Frank in Rocky Horror, and I'd love to see/hear anything from his turn as Hedwig.
