I saw that as well! They’d also be a great Snoopy, I think.
Also, I second Katrina Lenk for Aurora!

Hannah Solow has to be Lucy, right? She’s so perfect for it plus there’s the Pinkleton connection

THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW Previews Apr 12 2026, 10:30:53 PM
I wonder if it would be too confusing to just have designated performances that are call-out friendly. That way ticket-buyers can choose the experience they want and the production can be prepared either way. Straddling the line like this just seems like a headache for everyone.

Pink to Host the 2026 Tony Awards Apr 12 2026, 05:14:57 PM
I think she'll be great! She's an incredibly talented and seasoned performer and, if the Tonys are smart, they'll make good use of that. Years ago on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, I remember her talking about her love for Bette Midler and how excited she was to see her in Hello, Dolly! So she's been at least a casual Broadway fan for some time.

The Rocky Horror Show Expectations Apr 12 2026, 04:52:42 PM
I keep asking myself why the call-outs seemed to work so well in 2001 but seem like such an impossible thing to contend with today and I think you nailed it, Betty. That's exactly what I've been thinking but haven't been able to articulate as clearly and efficiently. I actually saw a local production of Rocky Horror last Halloween that allowed the call-outs and it was absolute chaos. I can only imagine what it's like at this scale. It has to be insanely dif

Liza memoir and promotion tour Apr 7 2026, 09:39:12 PM
Just got to the section on her stepping into Chicago. In the book, Liza says that “Nowadays” was converted into a solo for Roxie alone during her run. I thought that was the case for “I Am My Own Best Friend,” not “Nowadays.”

CHESS (2025 Broadway Revival) Reviews Mar 25 2026, 09:20:25 AM
I think that’s pitch perfect replacement casting. Good for the show and good for Jojo. I’m loving her commitment to musical theatre and she’ll sing the hell out of it.

Yeah, Annie Wilkes thinks anyone who partied at Studio 54 is a dirty birdie.

Valerie Cherish in CHICAGO (THE COMEBACK Season 3 Opener) Mar 23 2026, 09:41:09 PM
Alex Kulak2 said: "When I heard Jack O'Brien got cast this season, I assumed he'd be playing himself, directing Valerie in a play or something. Was delighted to see him playing a full character. Hopefully he keeps popping up this season."
I didn’t realize that’s who that was! I loved him! I found his scene very moving as it provided some of that Mickey comfort.

New Merrily Pro-Shot reviews Dec 6 2025, 10:41:04 AM
I saw this last night with some friends. I’ve never seen a full production of this show, though I was very familiar with the plot, score, and history of it. I think the piece definitely has some baked-in flaws and it ranks in the lower half of Sondheim’s shows for me. However I thought it was very well done and the cast, especially Groff, were excellent. I wish we’d gotten at least a few more wide shots. There were times when the insistence on close-ups really did a disservi

Rumor: BEACHES opening at the Majestic this season Dec 6 2025, 10:19:31 AM
Do they have some big names for the leads to go into this? That’s the only thing that I think would justify even a limited Broadway run of this show. Especially in such a huge theatre.
