Does he have another show on the horizon after Fiddler?

Something that wins him a Tony I hope. He has waited far too long and been so deserving for too long.

Well, considering he's still DOING this show, he likely doesn't have another show lined up.
Captain Von trapp in a sound of music revival? Henry Higgins in my fair lady.

I'm not sure if that casting is perfect or horrible, but I am HERE for a My Fair Lady revival starring Danny (and Kelli? Laura B? I think he and Kelli would be better together than him and Laura but what do I know?)
Burstein is not right for Henry Highins, but could do Doolittle or Pickering.
Whatever it is, you already know he'll be phenomenal in it—he always, always is. My hope is that he's more phenomenal than the other four men with whom he'll be nominated for a Tony. That's always his downfall.
How about a "My Fair Lady" revival starring Phillipa Soo?
I wonder if Bartlett Sher has a role in mind for him in To Kill a Mockingbird...
In any case, some of the roles I'd like to see him play are:
Don Quixote in ‘Man of La Mancha’
Fagin in ‘Oliver!’
Herbie in ‘Gypsy’
John Adams in '1776'
Nathan Detroit in 'Guys & Dolls'
Pseudolus in ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum’
Tateh in 'Ragtime'

I can see him more as Sancho Panza.
I wouldn't mind a remounting of Fun Home production somewhere off-Broadway with him playing Bruce Bechdel, with Rebecca Luker as Helen (*cue A8 screaming profanities somewhere*). But that's just me.
Oh, and Wizard replacement in Wicked.
I really want to see him play Tateh in Ragtime. Also, I think he'd be a great Dolittle in My Fair Lady.
I hope he takes a nice long vacation - he deserves it. But I hope his next project is Doolittle in the MY FAIR LADY revival.

It might be to early for another revival, but I'd love to see his take on Prof. Harold Hill.

I truly enjoyed his performance of I Am Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone.

All of these
Speaking of Danny Burstein, what's Ms. Kelli O'Hara up to these days?? Let's get them in a show together again!

That's where I saw him first -- he was briliiantly hilarious every time -- even the time when the murphy bed broke and he had to 'rescue' Beth Leavel from the breaking bed just as the stage manager rushed out on the stage. "Oh look -- here come the neighbors!" he quipped as he and Beth dashed off to the safety of the wings.
He was so good in Drowsy that the streak in his hair developed a personality all on its own and he often had to wrestle it back in place as the streak attempted to take bows. When an actor inspires wild wig hair to create its own part, you know he's got powers we still haven't seen yet.

Well, yes, but every "dream casting" discussion can only be about what already exists.

He won't do it, but I'd love to see him tour with Fiddler.

I first saw Danny in The Drowsy Chaperone, and later in South Pacific, and I was thinking "Wow! is this the same guy?". Of course I had to see him in Fiddler, and I'm looking forward to his next project, preferably as a creator, but as long as we're talking revivals, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls. Hey, they're doing it in Buck's County this summer (wishful thinking).
