Has anyone heard what the next show might be? This theatre will probably be available come fall.
Again:
I have observed your vendetta against Patti LuPone for the past 10 years on this message board. What ever did she do to you??
A Director, Calm down.
You are mean! They have a 10 million dollar advance, are having nearly million dollar weeks, just got very nice reviews, and the show will no doubt be nominated for at LEAST 3 Tony Awards. I think War Paint is going to have a nice run.
This is a great example of poorly and inappropriately timing a "What's Next for ____ Theatre?" thread.

BroadwayConcierge - I could care less what a Trump Sycophant thinks!
Ain't Too Proud?
Dreamgirls?
Roman Holiday?
You can probably add the honeymooners onto that list
I think The Honeymooner's has its eyes on that theater.
I personally wouldn't take Honeymooners there...if only because Honeymoon in Vegas was also there.

Correct! I hear it's a new musical for next summer --- none of the ones mentioned above. Possibly a short term interim booking of a play in between.
^ The Boys in the Band for a limited run in the winter?
So is Dreamgirls not coming this season?
^I could see it being delayed until next season since Casey Nicholaw already has Mean Girls coming in the spring.

PRETTY WOMAN has been announced to be going into a Nederlander theatre TBA --- so I would assume it's going to THE Nederlander --- with perhaps a short interim booking (or 2) in between? Donny & Marie Christmas, anyone??
I wonder if Home Again would reconsider moving to The Nederlander.
Haven't people been throwing around Honeymooners for this house? Or is that just pure guessing? The general consensus is that the show needs more tweaking before it can take the plunge...

While what comes next to The Nederlander is something I care about, I think that Pretty Women would take the Neil Simon. They are doing an out of town run this summer, and, Angels In America is a limited run. By the time Angels closes, there won't be that much down time between Angels closing and Pretty Woman going in there in the fall. Remember, the press announcement said A Nederlander theatre not THE Nederlander theatre. But, that is just speculation on my part and nothing official.

The Cher musical has already announced it will be taking the Simon after Angels.
