I refuse to see anything twice.
Especially since I don't live in the city, I like to see as much as possible. Expand the horizons.
I've never had a desire to see a show twice, either. Except Light in the Piazza.
What a beautiful, beautiful experience (even in the farthest seat away from the stage!)

I've never seen shows on Broadway more than once, but if we're counting tours, regional theatre, and other productions I have seen Sweeney Todd 17 times and was in it once for a three week run.

Rent, 53-ish times... I think... (I don't see it anymore though)
Coming in second was Rocky Horror at 7 times...
Phantom of the Opera - 16 times (Broadway...will see it at the least more times in the next few months)
Les Miserables - 6 (tour)
Who cares how many times you've seen a show? I'd much rather see MORE shows than the same one over and over.
That said, I've seen Les Mis, Rent, Chicago, and Phantom 3 times each (though the three latter ones each include a touring production when I was in college).
I'm much prouder of the fact that I've seen nearly 100 shows on Broadway...

Just because there are a few shows people choose to see over and over, doesnt mean they dont see other shows as well.
It's very easy -- especially when you live in the city -- to see a whole lot of shows in one week.

The most I've seen a show is twice. and I've seen them twice because I go once with my family, and then a club or group I'm in takes a trip, so I go again.
I've seen Wicked, Aida, Les Miz, 42nd Street, Beauty and the Beast, and Mamma Mia twice.
I've seen Phantom 6 times, only two on Bway though.
Wicked is up to 4.
RENT - 12 TIMES
DREAMGIRLS - 18 TIMES
42nd Street- 5 times
Wicked- 3 times
Les Mis. I think the count is up to 8 now. I also performed in the show, so that must quadruple the number- all those dress rehearsals and shows...and the tour's coming

Sideshow - 5 times, which is a feat considering it was only in the theater 4 months or so before it closed.
Truly a pity.

I've seen Rent 7 times (only once was ON Broadway. The other 6 times were in Detroit and Toronto). I've lost count on how many times I've seen Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, but I've seen many different productions of it. Les Mis comes in at 5 times.
All Shook Up- 31
Phantom- 6
Wicked- 6 (5 Broadway, 1 Chicago)
Les Mis- 4 (3 Broadway, 1 London)
A worked at Mamma Mia for a couple months, putting my number somewhere around 150+, but I've actually paid to see it 27 times. I've also seen Chicago 8 times.
Thoroughly Modern Millie - 12 times

Completely agree with you there! That was an excellent show that should have run much longer.
