Either Heather Headley or Linda Blair.

A friend of mine who is close to the production tells me they are very close to inking a deal with Patty Heaton.

I guess I'd be ok with Heaton in the role. But I just worry that her hair isn't right for it. But she's proven me wrong before, so y'never know.

Are talking about the actress that was Debra on "Everybody Loves Raymond"?
Cause I was hoping for someone much younger. Either Ariana Grande or Ryan Newman (of "See Dad Run").

She is going to wear it like she wore it during Raymond's heyday, in that iconic hairstyle that captured the nation, "The Deb."
She is angry in this picture because women have reproductive freedom in the United States.

I'm at least glad she'll have the anger needed to play Wendy.

All these women are over 50 ...
It should be Emerson Steele, and if they're going for a name, Ariana Grande.

Wendy is older than Peter. At the end of the musical, she even has a daughter of her own. I think you're thinking of another character.

She should be played by a young actress for the majority of the show and towards the end another actress who's older plays her when she's a wife and mother.

Last I heard it was between patty and Doris Roberts as Wendy grown up. Craig and Neil want a Raymond reunion.

So I guess someone like Emerson Steele could play her in Act 1 and Patricia Heaton could play her in Act 2.

I just had a thought what if the same actress who ends up as Mrs. Darling also plays Wendy as an Adult?

I hear rumblings that Patty Heaton's deal fell through because she wasn't comfortable with the idea that Tinker Bell and not God make the kids fly. My source says they've contacted Marilu Henner.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

With Ariana's record coming out there is no way she would be able to be apart of this. As the producers even said they need all the actors with open schedules for a few months. I'm going with an open call for the Darling kids [and lost boys]. I don't think any "name" would play Wendy, as her role is fairly thankless.
Possible a soap opera/nickelodeon/disney person might be Wendy. What about one of the girls from 'Girl meets world'? Too young?

What about Ryan Newman? She plays the older daughter Emily on "See Dad Run" I hear she might be a singer...

My close friend who is very very very VERY close to the production team said that Miley Cyrus is inking her deal as Wendy on Monday with Laura Benanti as Michael and John, and Meryl Streep as Nana. SO EXCITING!!

But, Patty is way too old for Wendy. I really doubt this.

I heard they offered it to Nanette Fabray and Barbara Barrie, so now it's going to Lilla Crawford.
Hesione Hushabye thinks it tastes like ashes.

Well, if Wendy were alive today, she'd be 126 years old, so I vote for Joan Rivers.
