King George III hasn't been officially announced yet but Lin-Manuel Miranda tweeted a few days ago that more cast announcements are coming Thursday. The same day he also tweeted a photo of him and Jonathan Groff, who (I think) would be available now that Looking was cancelled. When my friends and I met him stage door at the public Groff wasn't sure what the fate of Looking would be but he sounded like he would have interest in joining the Broadway show if he were available.
Did you find a stack of notecards with Broadway discussion points on them or something?

yes(joke) no just a whole bunch of things I want to know.
What a wonderful and helpful subject line!
I thought I read somewhere on this board that Groff said he was playing King George on Broadway.
I've also wondered why Laura Bell hasn't returned to broadway in so many years.
Imelda's Gypsy SHOULD come to Broadway. After On the Town runs its course, the Lyric should be dedicated to Gypsy revivals from here on out. The demand is there.

Sierra Boggess interviewed her at the Tonys red carpet and she said that she is starting to look for something to come back in! So hopefully soooon :)
Extend? They have barely begun! For new shows, the norm is one year contracts, it's unlikely either will leave before then.

This thread title means something very different on most of the other websites I visit.
Who was the third friend she was talking about? I've only thought of Andy Karl and annaleigh Ashford and I can't think of the last one.

It is? Outside of a few people on BWW who would obviously like to see it, who else has been demanding it? Of the five Broadway productions thus far, the longest run was the original, running just shy of two years.
They can do The King & I, La Cage, Gypsy, and Fiddler in rep.
Nice Fish, the Mark Rylance play? It hasn't announced for B'way...but is suppose to play at the ART in Boston in the winter. (I forget the timing, but I have tix.)
^And then it's playing St. Ann's Warehouse 2/14-3/13/16.
Totally forgot about that!
I've got tix, for Cambridge, very excited.
