Of the Cosette's I have seen on stage, Ali Ewoldt is probably my favorite. She has a certain charm to her and maturity that I liked. On recordings, Judy Kuhn, at her best has a great voice and seems to have brought depth to the role, and Yuhko Miyamoto(Japanese Red Cast)who has a very pretty voice and probably the most emotional Cosette(in the finale) I have heard.
First, I'd like to say I always wanted to play Cosette. Cosette is the Raoul de Chagny of the Les Mis universe. She's so hated for no good reason...it's not her fault that Marius loved her and not Eponine. She may not be fully developed, but I saw the show and I didn't think Eponine was that developed, either! *ducks stones*
Anyway, I love Judy Kuhn's voice in the role. Never saw her, but I like her all the same.
Worst Cosette I have seen: Amanda Huddleston. Way too shrill.
I have never once cared about this character in the least. It's terribly under-developed in the musical. As long as the actress can sing decently, it is hard to screw up.
Ali Ewoldt was brilliant as Cosette. I saw her in May and in October. She was absolutely enchanting.......when you first see her and she dumps into Marius........this angelic face, framed in her bonnet that she wears.
A fantastic actress and a gorgeous voice. She was fantastic! Updated On: 12/3/07 at 09:51 PM

But I'll echo what LizzyCurry said: I have never seen a bad one, really.

Judy Kuhn was, by far, the best Cosette I've seen. She brought depth to a role that, in the hands of every other Cosette I've seen (of course I didnt see them all) was fairly boring. I think it's a most important role. She is the through line of the story.
I saw the original Bway cast, and several times during the original run, including the "replacement" cast just after MacIntosh replaced most of the Bway cast with the tour. I have not seen the "revival" cast.
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
Hands down, Gina Beck and Katie Hall. Gina was seriously absolutely amazing with the part, and Katie is just lovely- both are great Cosettes. Much better than most other ones!
Because GreeceMusical has nothing interesting to do.
