It was a very energetic performance, lots and lots of ovations, of course.

As far as unique moments, there were lots of little moments between cast members (kisses, touches, looks, etc) that were little good byes.

When Pierre interrupts the madness in the Abduction, the show stopped with a raucous standing ovation and when it finally died down, Dave seemed overwhelmed and acknowledged it. He then later had trouble with bell ring at the end, much to everyone's enjoyment.

Lucas relished his long notes and silences. The girl in the Russian custom seat got a quick kiss at the end.

The emotion during Natasha and Pierre was strong. Denee struggles to get her last lines out, and then Dave had the task of singing The Great Comet, during which he struggled and it was beautiful.

That speech was truly something special. her emotion was so raw and I can't begin to imagine how she's holding up. I think it's important to give the Kagans acknowledgement. Without them this show wouldn't have made it to Broadway. Whether they succeed financially or not, it doesn't really matter artistically. I also think Rachel's Instagram post answers the audits question. The show wasn't made to be sustainable.

How giving the actors multiple and lengthy ovations making the show about themselves?

Paul seems to have shaved the beard between the end of the abduction and before bows. I was at the show and the cast went nuts when they saw him come out. He looks so different!

That is entirely untrue. The final performance is about the show and all involved with the production. The energy in the theater was entirely supportive, respectful, and filled with love.

Did anyone else think Lucas sounded teary as he sang "Goodbye my gypsy lovers...?"

I was sitting in the 3rd row of the stage right banquettes, on the aisle, so about 6 feet behind Rachel and Sam who were seated at a table. They were directly in my line of vision for much of the show, and watching them watch/react throughout the performance was just about as enjoyable as watching the actual show. I noticed cast members giving them winks and special looks. Also, during Blaine's scenes as Bolkonsky, Rachel was cracking up. And during Charming, both of them were rocking out in their seats. What a bonus to be able to have seen all that.

Not sure what that means or how the audience does that.

There was one moment where he sounded choked up but he recovered quickly.

As the cast wrapped up the pierogies and all that, I noticed a lot of them giving each other extra hugs. Nick Choksi circled the platform to share a moment with everyone.

After the pierogies were handed out and warnings issued, when the cast found their spots to sit during the intro as Pierre comes out and Natasha & Andrey have their scene, Nick Gaswirth was sitting on the stairs right next to me and was wiping tears from his eyes.

When the show ended and bows began, Lucas and Brittain stand at that top platform by the entrance doors until it's their time to come down. I glanced back and they were standing their holding hands. What a moment for them - the two that have been with it from the very first Ars Nova workshop and throughout the entire journey - every single production/venue.

I saw Howard sitting in the stage left banquettes, on the far end, 2nd or 3rd row. Didn't notice Janet with him but I saw them both come outside together after the show.

I was happy to snag one of the OC signed posters depicting Josh & Denee that they had left over. I stopped by the Schubert Alley store b4 show, and the rep said he was out of stock, but the theater had some left from the day Josh left and planned to offer them to the stage door crowd. That was a treat.

Already feeling the withdrawal and wondering what else to see that would be good.
