That is a load of crazy baloney.

That is not why people aren't saying anything.

It's more likely they feel uncomfortable turning on someone they perhaps feel is a friend. And in many other cases, that likely isn't going anywhere and they fear the repercussions to their career.

I'm not judging either, for their both instinctual human reactions. But it's not because he's a major donation bundler.

I think we'll have to see. But the story that Penske Media's Hollywood Reporter broke ten days ago directly impacted Rudin's stepping down.

I connected the dots easily. I did read the first article from Hollywood Reporter in 2010, IIRC, which detailed his relationship with his subordinates as well as the Page Six coverage on the same issues a few years later. I looked him up when he announced the revival of The Music Man thru his usual outlet then ( David Rooney of Hollywood Reporter). I did wonder why THR was rehashing them recently.

Also, he did not give his exclusive statement about withdrawing from Broadway with any Penske outlet (Hollywood Reporter/Deadline/Variety). but through Jeff Bezos's Washington Post.

His withdrawal is the best thing to do under the circumstances ( mainly no hindrance to the return of Broadway and taking care of the people whom he recruited or are now recruiting to give Broadway some of its best shows).

Rudin is responsible for his own undoing. But yes, that doesn't mean that powerful interests can't profit off of it at the same time.

Probably because they’ve been covering the Chauvin trial since it started weeks ago, and from that they cover the police and black men relations over the past few weeks, and then go into mass shootings over the past week or so. HT have not been enjoyable the past month.
