In the script it says "Fiyero,the winkie prince" what is the meaning of "winkie"...I'm raised bilingual but I never heard that word. I asked my dad(who's american)but he doesn't have a clue what it means either. can anyone help? love nona

speaking of fyiero and winkies i was watching the pbs b'way special. and fyiero has the blue thing on his face like in the book, i liked that, however it really didnt translate well. just made it look like the phantom came over to play fyiero

It took me a minute to figure out he had blue diamonds on the side of his face. And is it me or does Elphaba look much greener in SF? Maybe they changed the make-up?

Can anyone give me a synopisi of the play. I haven't had a chance to see it yet although I've memorized the score.I also tried to read the book but I've got the attention span of adung beetle.
