Has anyone ever seen it in Atlanta? If so, does she come up from the floor for No Good Deed? Also how different is the tour compared to the broadway show?
In the tour she does not come through the stage. She comes on from the wings.
The tour is very similar to the Broadway production in terms of the physical design. As previously mentioned, Elphaba does not come out of floor for No Good Deed. Also, on Broadway the set extends past the proscenium. On tour, this is obviously not the case.
Elphaba has never come out of the floor at the top of No Good Deed on any Wicked tour. When the 1st National began in 2005, the plan was to fly her in from the wings. Stephanie J. Block was badly injured during tech on the flying rig. The effect was cut before previews and since then, Elphaba just runs on from the wings.

I see the show Saturday, but yes as people have mentioned on tour she comes in from the wings. There are some very slight changes with the 2nd National vs Broadway and 1st National tour. I think there is a tread on that somewhere.
I am seeing the show in atlanta in a couple days, but no she does not come up from the floor in No Good Deed. I did hear from a reputable source, however, that some new technical things were being added to the tour during its atlanta run. I am very excited to see them!
In the first national tour the grimmerie from 'no good deed'does comes up and back down from the floor. In the second national tour she comes in with the grimmerie and then gives it to a monkey. Also she does come up from the stage in the finale.. at least right now in L.A.
^She comes up from the stage in the finale only in the 1st National if possible. On the 2nd National she comes out of a well set piece.
Wasn't the set for the 2NT supposed to be a complete replica of the broadway set, but the set that they would use, the chicago set, was not usable?

No. The original 1NT set remained in Chicago and was modified to include the trap door for Elphaba and to include a side balcony for Madame Morrible and the witch hunters scene.
A replica of the original 1NT (without the Chicago modifications) was built for the 1NT tour.
My understanding is that parts of the Chicago set were incorporated into other productions, but not the 2NT.
The 2NT set was always designed to be lighter and faster to load-in and load-out.
Are there specific differences or is the 2NT just sort of scaled down a bit for transporting purposes? I keep hearing how they made changes but never what they were.

I just got back from tonights show. Emily Koch was on for Elphaba, The Wizard and Nessa were out as well. I did notice what looked to be a few new tech things. The school scene where she looses control of her powers over the lion cub, they added some smoke blasts and two ensemble members did some flying. I don't recall seeing that in other productions? Also noticed some new light changes and projections.

I saw the show last night as well. It was very good! I thought the flying students was effective. This was my first time seeing the 2nt, and I thought it looked great! Yes, there were times when you could tell it was slightly scaled back, but it was not very noticeable.
