Who thinks so?
Really?
So Amazing Grace has no chance of an upset?
What about Nerds? I heard it's really good.

I heard Allegiance would win
Can we make fun of Tuck Everlasting yet, or should we wait for the pans first?
No it will be "Waitress"...
Hell I couldn't even type that with a straight face....
Considering it's been sweeping up every award, possible... Yes. Without a doubt
I know this thread is a joke, but I'm actually curious what musical would win if Hamilton was not in the race.

I think Waitress or Shuffle Along would probably be in a close race if Hamilton wasn't in the picture.

Well, we'll see who all the other awards committees will award Best Musical, since they awarded Hamilton last year.
Isn't SHUFFLE ALONG being considered a revival?
Is it?
I don't think they announced it yet.
The bigger question is what will win the "Drama Desk" award since Hamilton won it last year and is not eligible this year - lol.
I just wish they would just give everyone involved with Hamilton a tony award so they don't have to be nominated in the actual tony awards, because i just feel bad for all the other shows and people who don't even have a shot at being nominated or even getting a win.
You feel too much.
I don't think they need your pity
Everyone should get a prize.
It's the mantra of the Millennials.
I think the real question is how many Tonys will it win?
While Hamilton is likely going to dominate this year's awards, there are still some categories that aren't foregone conclusions yet.

It shouldn't be. It isn't in any way, shape or form, a revival.

I won't lie, I had completely forgotten about Amazing Grace.

The one that would have played at the Richard Rodgers if Hamilton was not there.
While its win is a foregone conclusion, this thread has made me realize it's been a pretty bad year for new musicals, with some exceptions.
I imagine without Hamilton, Shuffle Along wouldn't be doing everything in its power to be considered a revival and would probably be the front runner.
